One of the largest and most beautiful cabins in the area this great lodge style building located on the banks of the lower Mountain Fork river was built in 2005 for those large groups that like to play together and stay together. Designed to accommodate approximately thirty people, RiverBend Lodge is perfect for corporate, religious or any other type of retreat, weeklong/weekend camp groups, family reunions and other groups or gatherings.
The great room features a beautiful, double sided, mountain rock fire place flanked by antler chandeliers in both sides of the room. The seating consists of Futons that convert to beds for sleeping space. For movie nights there is even a 42in plasma screen TV with satellite service. For additional entertainment inside there is a nice sized shuffleboard table. If you just can’t stand to be far away from your email, this is a hotspot with wireless Internet access.
If your needs include Power Point or other shows via the computer, the Lodge features wireless Internet, the ability to project on to the plasma screen as well as a handheld microphone with speakers in great room and on the front and back porch.
There are two sleeping rooms with a total of 10 bunks (hence the name Bunk House!) There are 15 twin bunks and 5 full sized with mattresses. You bring your favorite pillow and either sleeping bag or linens. The two Futons in the great room offer additional full sized sleeping accommodations. Air mattresses are also available. If you need even more sleeping space, the new two bedroom cabin next door may be available to rent together at a special rate.
The kitchen is large with abundant cabinet and counter space, two range/ovens, microwave, large refrigerator and there is an icemaker that will fill your ice chests twice a day. Tables are in the kitchen for serving up those large meals buffet style. Both bathrooms feature 2 full shower stalls along with a deep industrial sink for cleaning dirty clothes or shoes.
For on site fun you always have a place to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the river. Several porch swings and outdoor tables to allow you a moment to catch your breath and kick back a moment taking in your surroundings. Expect to see one or more of the numerous eagles, deer, squirrel, and other wildlife that live here. A boat ramp is located right next to the building and guests are encouraged to bring their fishing boats, canoes or rent a canoe if desired from either Wild Goose or Ambush Adventures.
There is a bamboo forest to explore – can you get to the island? Grab some steaks and burgers and grill out on the four grills that are stationed along the river bank. For the kiddos, there is a huge play set (for picture) featuring swings, climbing wall and fort and of course that bamboo forest for exploring. For even more play those horse shoe lovers will appreciate a designated area all set up and ready as soon as you unpack. A boat ramp just a few steps from the Lodge along with additional seating to enjoy the river a bit lower on the rivers bank. Plenty of parking is available with additional room for overflow.

All dates are held for exactly 24 hours from the reservation date, if the reservation is not paid within the 24 hours, the dates will be released for others.
What to bring/ pack: food, drinks, charcoal, lighter fluid, marshmallows, bird and squirrel food, bug spray, sunscreen, flashlights, lawn chairs, fishing poles and tackle for all types of fishing, bb guns (for shooting targets and cans that you promise to clean up – not for shooting animals), hiking shoes, small ice chests for day trips and canoeing,

This region of the beautiful Kiamichi Mountains is Oklahoma's best kept secret. Many people have no idea that Oklahoma contains this type of scenery and landscape, which is similar to the Ozark and Smoky Mountains of Arkansas, Missouri, and Tennessee.
Deep in the mountains of Southeastern Oklahoma is a mountain lake surrounded by national forests, state parks, clear running streams and the kind of solitude that has to be experienced to be truly appreciated.
This scenic area known for its luscious green forests and abundance of clear water provides a fun-filled environment for may popular outdoor activities such as canoeing, boating, hiking, bird watching, golfing, scuba diving, hunting, mountain biking, horseback riding four wheeling and all types of fishing. The Broken Bow recreation area is one of the most visited parts of Oklahoma. There are 14,000 surfaces areas of clean water to splash around in. Boating opportunities are awesome. This is the perfect place to sit quietly and feel the wind blow or jump the cliffs out on the lake.
Fishing - The fishing is terrific: 3,850 trout are released in the Mountain Fork River below Broken Bow Lake every other week from March through December. Below the lake is 14 miles of prime trout habitat in the tail waters fishery of the Lower Mountain Fork. Presbyterian Falls is one of the favorite sites among knowledgeable fly fishers. The area is characterized by shelf rock created water falls, medium to large boulders and deep holes. The lake is a great location for bass with the larges large mouth record of 14.7 pounds, striped bass, walleye and crappie. fishing. The Lake – Broken Bow Lake has 180 miles of shoreline; it is one of Oklahoma’s most scenic lakes. A great way to spend a beautiful day and located about 20 minutes from the cabins. You can see your feet while treading water, jump the cliffs and notice that hardly anyone has discovered it. And it’s a great location for bass with the larges large mouth record of 14.7 pounds, striped bass, walleye and crappie. fishing. Oriented North to South – sailing enthusiasts report it’s some of the best sailing they have ever experienced. Beavers Bend Marina has everything you need to enjoy this most beautiful lake with boat, Jet Ski and house boat rentals.
Resort Park - For even more to do around the lake area the resort park features guided horseback rides on scenic trails, hayrides, paddle boats, sandy beaches with roped off swimming areas and much more. It is at the park where you can ride the miniature train and seeing deer is almost guaranteed. This ride always brings a thrill to the little ones.
Hiking - The serious hiker is always drawn to Beavers Bend Resort Park where there is over 16 miles of hiking trails with 4 miles of multi-purpose (mountain bike) trails that wander along ridge tops, over creek bottoms, through tall stands of timber and into areas so remote one can almost experience what early-day explorers much have felt upon seeing the Quachita National Forest for the first time. There are many short and not-so-serious trails for a variety of short and long hikes for the not-so-serious hikers as well.
Floating the River or Canoeing Outfitters - For a full or half day of fun for the inexperienced to those needing a bit of a challenge, this is the activity where memories are made. Bring your camera, an ice chest of drinks and snacks, sunscreen and nothing that you would mind getting wet. We recommend putting everything in a waterproof, floatable bag – just in case.
Golf – Bring your clubs to Kiamichi Country – play in the early morning mist, surrounded by forests and mountains. Or play in the fall and be treated to a red-orange-and yellow leaf show unlike any place in Oklahoma, all while you are swinging your clubs!
