This spacious residence is newly built and about to be finished at a unique location in Malmok near the northern tip of Aruba. Being outside the hurricane belt, this residence provides for a safe investment and comfortable stay in a prime Caribbean spot. The most beautiful sunsets are to be enjoyed right here while having a cocktail at the swimming pool.
Location
The house is beautifully situated at an elevated level, permitting views towards the hotel area with the Caribbean ocean further to the back. It is located across the Tierra del Sol Golf course & Country Club, with beaches just minutes walking distance away and 10 minutes driving distance from Oranjestad.
Style
This Italian designed villa offers a unique personality to be enjoyed. Exclusive and natural materials have been used to give the house its character and provides for a luxurious and comfortable living. All finishes have been tastefully crafted with mostly handmade materials.
Colombian roof tiles were handmade with different hues of color, to provide for a solid but elegant roof. All windows and doors were custom made from tropical wood (red cedar).
Both the large living room and the master bedroom have cathedral ceilings. To enjoy the panoramic view to it’s fullest, the living opens up with large sliding doors to the back terrace and swimming pool, whereas the master bedroom (upstairs) has a grand size safety glass window.
Every floor and bathroom is tiled with natural stones: rich ‘Mexican and Spanish Travertine’ inside the house and on the main terrace outside, as well as ‘Jerusalem Gold’ on the entrances and pool terrace. Some of the best existing sealers have been applied to protect the precious stones. In the three bedrooms, as well as the front entrance, the beauty of these stones were accentuated by skillfully crafted, unique and delicate mosaics. All bathrooms are equipped with small Travertine stones, decorative Italian ‘Alpi Verde’ lines, exclusive nickel hardware and elegant glass shower doors. Ironworks (gates, stairway, terrace, balcony) were handmade in a rustic but delicate style.
The garden
Much effort has been spent to create a lush, tropical garden as if a fairy tale came true. Frangipani trees, a colorful variety of crotons, many different palm trees and ferns, birds of paradise, gingers, citrus trees and many other species are growing to add to the tropical setting of the property. Under the old Flamboyant tree, fish swim through a pond under the waterfall. Orchids are flowering under the pergola and elsewhere in the garden. Illuminated at night, the garden certainly is a most peaceful and romantic experience while enjoying an outside dinner in this tropical paradise. The garden, design, finishes and location all add to the tropical Caribbean dream that will be hard to match.
