Property Information
Mountain seclusion will be yours at Above The Trees, a brand new log cabin set high on a forested mountaintop with fantastic long range views of the Smokys. Whether you are seeking a memorable family stay or a romantic get-away, this 2 bedroom 3 bath cabin will be a perfect choice. Inside you can enjoy a game of pool on the full size pool table in the loft, take in a movie on the HD TV in the living room, or prepare a meal in the fully equipped kitchen. In the evening you can take in the mountain view while relaxing in the very private hot tub on the master bed room's deck. When you are ready to retire, you can fall asleep in the queen bed in front of a warm glowing fireplace and satellite TV in the lower level master bedroom.
For outdoor activities, you are midway between the best whitewater rafting in the east on the Nantahala River, the beauty of the Appalachian Trail and the most visited National Park in the country, the Great Smoky Mountains NP.
Anytime of the day, the beautiful North Carolina mountain view is just outside the massive windows.
Above the Trees is pet friendly, sleeps 4-8 and is available year round.

| Cancellation Policy: Due to the nature of our business, and the fact that people generally book our cabins well in advance, we require a minimum of 30 days notice in order to give a full refuend of a deposit, less a $75.00 cancellation fee. If you must cancel your reservation with less than 30 days notice of your arrival date, and we are able to re-rent your cabin in full, we will be happy to refund your deposit, less the $75.00 service charge. In the even of an early departure, bad weather, or poor road conditions, we cannot provide a refund. |

| Other Policies: Pets are permitted only with prior approval. Additional pet rental and additional Damage Deposit on your credit card will apply. Any pets residing on the property that have not been pre-approved shall result in the termination of Tenant's tenancy, loss of security deposit in full, and may be subject to additional fees. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up of any/all pet refuse. Pets are not allowed on furniture at any time. Any evidence of pets on furniture will be subject to additional fees. All pets must be up to date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations and must be free from fleas. All pets are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical fela and tick repellent three days prior to arrival. The cabin owners assume no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises. |

We wanted to do something relaxing after our wedding and this was the perfect cabin! Very secluded and gorgeous mountain views. It was nicely decorated and had everything that we needed for the week. We enjoyed spending most of our vacation just relaxing in the cabin, cooking and watching movies.

12/01/08 We really enjoyed this quaint cabin very much. It is the last cabin at the top of the road with an outstanding winter view. We even got snow on our last day we were there. 500 feet down, it didn't stick. The road is a little scary going up. We even had to back up and gun it up the last 100ft due to loose, wet gravel. But it was worth it. The hot tub was oh so deliciously warm on the freezing Nov evening.
The house had all the amenities we could need: cable TV, 2 fireplaces, pool table, laundry, kitchen, hot tub. (The toaster and coffee maker could use replacing, though.)
It was so far off the beaten path, however, we decided that it was either best to go out only once a day if at all. That is it's a great cabin to come home to, but not something you can hop in and out from.
The closet cabin is about 100' down the road. It is below and in view. But the distance still gives one of seclusion.
And did I mention the view? Awesome!

What a wonderful weekend getaway! We celebrated our 11th anniversary in this beautiful, romantic cabin. We enjoyed the amazing view -- mountains and clouds, the cozy fireplaces and even the adventure of winding our way up to the cabin in the dark!

What a marvelous home you have here! the VIEW is Awesome! When you drive up the road, you wonder "what is with going this far off the road to see?" but it is so well worht it. The privacy was perfect for us.
Juist so happens, God ordered snow -- the ride here was like "wonderland!"
It is our 34th wedding anniversary and I can't think of a better place to be with my sweetheart.

Our family has done a lot of traveling the past 20 years. I believe this is the best vacation we have ever had.
The mountains are absolutely magnificent!
The best part of all was just getting away for the hustle and bustle of everyday life in the big city. I plan to come back again and again for many years!

This is truely is a beautiful cabin with an even better view. Love all the work and attention to detail that was put into this place.
