What a peaceful place and so convenient to everything! We did it all -- Santa's Land, the Nantahala, Gem Mining, Gatlinburg, Blue Ridge Parkway, Deep Creek (beautiful scenery & waterfalls), marshmallows and jiffy pop by the camfpire, feeding the horsies, The Great Pumpkin Trainride.
Beautiful memories have been made. It's all over too fast.

We won this vacation at the Clay Christmas Concert Pre-party in Easton, PA. We had a wonderful time. We were here for Railfest and enjoyed the craft fair, watching the clog dnacers, and listening to Blue Grass music. We followed the Road to Nowhere and went to Cheroke.
The cabin is beautiful, cozy and the perfect place to relax. We especially enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch -- the perfect place for moning coffe and the outdoor fireplace at the end of the day. This has been a wonderful weekend.

The cabin "made momma happy". Two adults and two teenagersf fit well without crowding. The weather was great and locals warm and helpful. Did the touristy things and bought touristy junk as well.

We have felt very "at home" here at Lacey Lodge. The weather has been great and the views are beautiful. The boys loved their "Day out with Thomas" and their trip to the Rail Road Museum and Santa's Land. It was nice and relaxing to walk the streets of downtown Bryson City in the evenings after supper and then back to the cabin for our nightly game of Uno.

Easter with the Avery-Hanek clan again. The weather was a mite brisk the first couple of days, even a little snowy, but it warmed up nicely at the end of the week.
Found a couple of roads we hadn't taken before -- the very scenic Chehoula Skyway and the Road To Nowhere. Callie the collie loved the little Jack Russle neighbors and she bravely chased a deer out of the backyard one evening.
The cabin was great. The fireplace was charming. Until next year...

This cabin has brought us so much peace and happiness. We feel like we are home. We come to Bryson so often we have always done the biking, hiking, rafting, etc. which, as you know, is the best in the country. But this time we were lucky enough to stay here at Lacey Lodge, which gave us so much more than just a wonderful cabin to stay in. We have been here a while now and even though the cabin we are having built is nearly readity it is HARD to leave here. Our girls (four-legged Aussies) have been so alive and excited by the nearby farm animals! The neighbors have been wonderful as well. We hope that you (any visitor reading this) enjoy the peace, love, and goodness that emanates from this lovely log home.

My parents came up from FL and my husband and I came from NJ and we met here to spend our first Easter together in 23 years.
As a Travel Agent I travel extensively and I have stayed in a lot of cabins in the mountains all over the country. We found Lacey Lodge to be adroable, spaceious, and one of the homiest cabins we've ever stayed in. We loved the Native American motif and all of the wall hangings and knick knacks.
The view from the proch was great.
Us old folks did no river rafting or horseback riding, but we enjoyed many scenic drives to places like Nantahala Gorge, Fontana Dam, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Mom and dad enjoyed the casino and Cherokee Museum.
My dogs enjoyed snuggling close to the fireplace on their beds. We made some great home cooked meals inthe kitchen.
