Welcome!
The downstairs of this two story property is a very open design with a meandering living/dining/kitchen/library with huge plates of glass all across the back side of the house that open out to the grounds at the rear of the house giving the sense of openness and naturalness flowing from indoors to out. This area is an exhibition space for the contemporary art gallery which graces the walls of Casa Del Artista as well as a comfortable living room area and formal dining room. The art flows up the stairs and into the guest quarters so that the whole house is well appointed with fine art. We are open as a gallery only by appointment in between rentals so as not to disturb the peaceful ambiance for our guests. MORE PHOTOS see our Photo Album
WIRELESS INTERNET INCLUDED FREE - If you bring your laptop that has the ability to access a wireless network then we have high speed wireless internet available at no extra cost. This service can cost as much as $25.00 per hour at some hotels if available at all. No Computers are available so bring one with you.
The upstairs has 3 bedrooms that are available including the master suite with a King bed, and three large bedrooms one with a king, and the last bedroom with a queen. All have their own full bathrooms. They all open onto a large, open shared balcony that overlooks the back yard and pool.
The yard is full of plant life and a triangular pool at the back of the property leads to a bungalow that is set up as one of the bedrooms.

The Henri Matisse Master Suite
The Henri Matisse Master Suite is named after the famous French painter.
The Matisse Suite features a KING sized bed, fireplace, large marble bathroom, a private balcony, couch, chair, walk in closet and cable TV. The floor is covered with large terazzo tiles that give the room a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The Picasso Bungalow
This bungalow at the back of the property, is very private, has a private bath, king sized bed, sitting area, high speed cable internet connection available for free, Cable TV, large patio with table and chairs under the shade of a huge rubber tree.
The Hudson Room
The Hudson Room features two double beds in an oversized room that has windows on two sides of the room: one floor to ceiling window opens out to the quiet street below and the other to the balcony overlooking the grounds at the back of the house.

The Diego Rivera Room
The Diego Rivera room is named after an Important 20th century artist famous for his murals painted during the 20's to the 50's.
This room features a queen sized bed; pale Naples yellow floor; large, floor to ceiling plate glass windows with private balcony overlooking the pool and studio and a walk through closet that connects to the room's full bathroom with a pedestal sink and tiled shower.
