Manzanillo Vacation Home

A stunning beach front home with gorgeous pool and views of the Manzanillo area. Lots of outdoor space and open interior living spaces. The home can accommodate up to 15 guests and is an ideal setting for golf or fishing groups, or that corporate retreat! Most bedrooms have king/twin splits and can therefore accommodate a wide range of bed configurations for your family or groups.. Most bedrooms have ensuite baths and all have air conditioning. A relaxing setting away from it all, but with all possible amenities included. Located in the Las Brisas area on a 5 mile stretch of beach - great for morning walks or a dip in ocean!

We include daily housekeeping and towel changes daily. Sheets are changed either mid-week or every 3 days. Our house staff is more than happy to offer other services - laundry services, catering, grocery shopping, breakfast, drinks by the palapa, food services etc. Pricing varies, so please ask if you want or need anything as we are happy to accommodate any of your requests!

5 of the 6 bathrooms are ensuite to sleeping areas - only one of the lower level bathrooms is not connected to a bedroom, however, they all have separate toilet areas and open shower stalls with marble surrounds and marble countertops. Towels are provided and changed daily or as needed. Separate pool towels are available at the Cabana. The Cabana by the pool has a small 2 piece bathroom and there are 2 separate outside showers - one next to the cabana and one right at the entry to the beach.

The lower level of the home has 3 bedrooms - 2 of which have air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. The third has use of the 3rd bathroom on this floor but it is not ensuite. Each bedroom on this floor is equipped with a king/twin split for you to choose the exact bed configuration that you need. The two front bedrooms open onto the terrace by the pool and have lovely views to the pool, beach and ocean. Upstairs the studio suite has an ensuite bathroom and king/twin split bed. There is also a one bedroom suite on this floor - the main bedroom has a king/twin split and the living area of this suite has a twin and a double sofabed. All three of these rooms have bathrooms, air conditioning and terraces facing the ocean and beach.

We are happy to organize your airline tickets as well but at this point, can only do this for groups of 10 or more originating from the same airport. Casa Puesta del Sol....Sunset!: Welcome to Casa Puesta del Sol! This new home has just been completed as of March 2007 and is ready for your family, friends or business associates to enjoy! We have carefully designed this home to cater to a wide variety of groups and we truly hope you will enjoy your experience here. Having found a definite lack of smaller sized luxury properties, the home was designed to accommodate a wide variety of group sizes - from groups of 2 - 15. Let our house staff make this a memorable vacation for you - they are happy to offer any service you may need, or have it organized for you in advance of your stay, from pre-purchase and stocking of groceries, to palapa bar services or meal preparation, they are happy to help you in any way possible.

Extras: The kitchen has lovely views in all directions and is open to both the dining area and living areas. The kitchen is fully stocked with all basic amenities and appliances (with the exception of a dish washer). There is a filtered water tap into the sink and the water system throughout the whole home has been adjusted to maximize the water pressure. There is also a hot and cold water dispenser with bottled water on the upper floor level, so no need to worry about the water throughout the home. There is a 4 burner gas stove in the kitchen area as well as a charcoal barbeque out by the cabana for your use. In addition, the Cabana contains a small 2 piece bathroom to make life a little easier while out enjoying the pool or beach. There is also a sink with running water and lots of room for coolers to keep beverages cool. There are ample beach chairs and tables by the pool and lots of pool towels located here as well.

Property Activities

Superb location right on the beach offering both the convenience of a pool and 5 steps to a 5 mile stretch of beach right out front. Playa Las Brisas is one of the safest swimming beaches in Manzanillo. We are also treated to the breezes coming in off the ocean - the name says it all! This is the quieter area of town, off of the busy thoroughfares but still within 10 minutes drive of the main tourist area or downtown Centro Manzanillo. There is no real need for a vehicle as bus service or taxi service is great in this area and there is a good number of small restaurants in the immediate vicinity - or a short distance away. Lots of small grocery stores are scattered down the street with one directly across the road. A perfect spot to get away from it all and enjoy friends, family and the hospitality of our house staff, who are there to ensure you enjoy the best possible Manzanillo vacation!

Fishing Charters: This home has been designed with large groups in mind! With all bedrooms accommodating 2 people in twin beds, we can accommodate deep sea fishing vacations for up to 12 people in our home comfortably. We have access to a large number of fishing boats which all leave right out of the Centro area of Manzanillo (10 minutes away) & therefore can accommodate groups of 12 fishermen at a time on 3-4 boats, or however many you think would work best for your group. As each charter will vary, we hesitate to quote rates on this site, but do have basic figures on deep sea fishing vacations which would include a week in Casa Puesta del Sol, airport transfers, 4 days on the water fishing (either 5 or 8 hour fishing days), full meal service. In addition, the house staff can prepare fresh fish dinners - using your catch and are happy to also freeze the fish you may wish to take home. Drinks and gratuities extra.

Golf: Manzanillo and the surrounding areas have 4 great courses for your golfing pleasure! Two are within a half hour car ride and the other two a little further out, north of the airport, but well worth the drive if you are looking for a golf escape. The four courses are as follows: La Mantorraya or Las Hades Golf Resort and the Club Santiago Golf Course are both within about 30 minutes drive. Isla Navidad Grand Bay Hotel and Golf Course are about an hours drive as is the Tamarindo Golf Resort. We will provide further details of the courses in time, however, you should easily find information on the course designs etc by doing a quick search on the Internet. Any comments on the courses are welcome! Another great option for your vacation is to try out the deep sea fishing here - the Sailfish capital of the world, Manzanillo has worldclass fishing at reasonable prices. Marlin, Dorado, Tuna and Sailfish are but a few of the species you may catch out there.
