The Bear's Den will give you that warm, comfortable, at home feeling as soon as you walk through the door. Enjoy a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook and serve a gourmet meal or just enjoy our top-of-the-line amenities for a romantic wine and cheese appetizer. Speaking of romantic, the gas fireplace will really take the chill off after a day or evening on the slopes. Sleeping accommodations upstairs include two large bedrooms with three queen beds. For additional sleeping arrangements, queen-size and full-size sleeper sofas are located on the main floor. So, our getaway in the woods provides total sleep accommodations for 9 people. The master bath has a whirlpool tub to ease out the muscle kinks after a strenuous day in the outdoors. Another bath on the upstairs bedroom level serves the second bedroom. For convenience, there is a third bathroom with shower on the main level. A full size washer and dryer are available.Televisions with DVD/VCR players are located in the two bedrooms and in the main living area. Enjoy our personal DVD collection;sure to have something for everyone. If you find the Internet an integral part of your life, then you will be pleased to find there is free DSL quality wireless Internet connectivity available for your use. Also for your convenience there is unlimited long-distance calling. Now for the slopes! Silver Creek skiing is a short 5 minute walk from the townhouse or you can take the shuttle that stops 20 yards from the back door. Silver Creek offers lighted night skiing and tubing for the family. To ski the upper slopes or visit the Village area, take the same shuttle for a ten minute ride up the mountain. Park your car in the garage and enjoy the convenience of the great transportation provided at no charge by Snowshoe Mountain. The garage also provides a great place to store your boots and ski equipment.
