Property Information
Rendezvous by the Sea Villa is a wonderful 3 bedroom 3˝ bathroom villa perched on the water in the Boatman Point neighborhood on the southwest shore of St. John, USVI. The sunrise will wake you up every morning and if you’re lucky to be on island during a full moon, the moonrise is spectacular over Rendezvous Bay while eating a candlelit dinner on our screened veranda. Rendezvous by the Sea is a convenient 10 minute drive from Cruz Bay but far enough away to feel like you’re away from it all. Relax in the pool and look down at the reefs below you. You can actually see fish, turtles and stingrays from the pool deck – your own private aquarium! Follow the steps down to the beach below us and on a calm day you can snorkel or swim in the late morning/early afternoon. Return to the villa for a late lunch or early cocktails on the veranda. The lush grounds around the villa are filled with local flora: papaya trees, white and pink oleander, coconut palms, juniper and jasmine. There are fun mosaics and eclectic artwork and prints throughout the inside and outside of the house. This is a beach house at its finest! www.rendezvousbythesea.com

| Deposits: Rendezvous by the Sea requires a $300 security deposit. Please include the $300 security deposit with your final payment. The security deposit is fully refundable within 30 days of your departure, provided there is no breakage, damage, or missing items at the villa. All normal utilities (except long-distance phone calls and excessive use of the villa’s water supply) are included in your rental price. You hereby agree to pay Rendezvous by the Sea for the cleaning or replacement costs for all wear and tear. Locked pantries and closets are reserved for the use of the villa owner or cleaning staff and are not included in this rental. You as a Guest agree to take all reasonable steps to ensure that your family and other guests in your party adhere to the rules and regulations affecting the villa. |
| Other Fees: Hurricane and Inclement Weather Cancellations: Hurricane Season is June 1 through November 30. Unfortunately we do not refund for inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control. We HIGHLY recommend trip insurance and you need to make sure that inclement weather in the States and hurricanes in St. John are covered. If you are staying at Rendezvous by the Sea when a hurricane is threatening and we ask that you depart the island early, we will hold your balance on account for a future stay at Rendezvous by the Sea.
Liability: Guests are responsible for Rendezvous by the Sea during their occupancy and must lock all villa windows and doors securely at all times, especially when not on the premises. Please observe all cautions as given in our guest book. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our complete discretion. |

Bedrooms: All 3 bedrooms have private balconies overlooking the Caribbean. The bedrooms are comfortably air-conditioned and have brightly colored fabrics and pictures adorning the walls with mosquito netting over the beds.
Bedrooms 2 and 3 have a small tv/vcr and both have screened in porches with built-in benches and tiled tables.
Adjoining Bathrooms : All 3 bedrooms have their own private bathroom. Each bath has a double vanity, a large shower, and ceiling fan. The sinks and tile are handmade from Mexico and fit in with the colorful theme of the villa.
What a view!! : On a clear, calm day you can spot fish, stingrays and turtles from the pool area.
Or if you’d like, follow these steps down to the beach and get up close and personal with the sea creatures. Rendezvous Bay is home to blue tangs, turtles, angel fish, and squid. The entry is a little rocky, but not too difficult.
The Great Room: The Great Room contains a dining area on one side and a comfortable sitting area on the other side. The furnishings include antique Persian rugs, mahogany and cane Planter’s chairs, and two wonderful water bird (Waterford??) china lamps. The kitchen is compact but fully equipped and offers enough space to work while others can sit and chat with the chef or watch tv comfortably in the entertainment alcove.
The screened porch off the great room is a wonderful place to unwind in the late afternoon. Enjoy a cocktail in the sitting area or read a book in the sky chair, then dine in the evening by candlelight at the glass top table and watch the moon rise.
The views are spectacular at Rendezvous by the Sea. Early morning sunrise and a lazy, quiet afternoon by the pool.
