A lovely and charming new two bedroom villa nestled in the hills above Anse des Cayes overlooking the ocean and the surrounding islets.
Located in a very quiet compound with gentle Caribbean Sea breezes and only minutes away from the beaches, and from the main towns of Gustavia and St Jean.

Villa Dolce Vita is very nicely decorated and is extremely private.
The living room as well as an outdoor covered teck dining terrace overlook the ocean as well as the pool and a lush tropical garden.
Whether you choose to soak up the sun by day or enjoy a cocktail by night, the pool is surrounded by a beautifully maintained tropical garden with dramatic views and illuminations. The pool area also has an outdoor shower and Weber Barbeque, should you desire to cook underneath the Carribean starlit sky.
A large air-conditioned master bedroom (king size bed) has a full teak bathroom, a walk in dressing room and a safe. Wake up to the view of the ocean from your bed as the main bedroom offers a spectacular view of the Carribean Sea.
The second air-conditioned bedroom opens directly onto a large deck above the pool and also offers ocean views. It has two twin beds that can be converted into a queen size bed.
Whether you chose to cook yourself or hire one of the world class chefs on the island to come cook in your villa, a brand new fully equipped gourmet kitchen has everything one can ask for including a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea and the pool.

Answer: Villa Dolce Vita is a 5 minute drive to the main town, Gustavia, which is the harbor and main shopping area in St Barths. The village of St Jean (restaurants and shops) is also about a 5 minute drive.
Question: How far is Villa Dolce Vita from the beach?
Answer: Villa Dolce Vita is extremely well located for your choice of beaches. It is a 5 minutes drive to either Flamands Beach or St Jean Beach. Gourneur Beach, which is our favorite, is a beautiful 10 minute drive.

Answer: Absolutely! Villa Dolce Vita in located up the hill of Anse des Cayes and thus provides beautiful and dramatic views of the Carribean Sea and surrooundings islets.

Answer: The only noise you will hear is the breeze and the birds!
Question: Do I need a car?
Answer: Even though St Barts is a small island, you do need a car to get around. There are unfortunately no sidewalks (except in towns), making it difficult to get around the island without transportation. Car and scooter rentals seem to be the most popular form of transportation. Taxi and shuttle service does exist though it is infrequent and unpredictable
Question: How close is the nearest grocery store?
Answer: You have a choice of grocery stores within a 5 minute drive with local island produce as well as fresh gourmet specialities flown in from France daily. The island also has a number of wine stores that offer a large selection of the best wines from around the world.
Question: Can you recommend restaurants?
Answer: St Barts is reputed for having the best chefs and restaurants in the Caribbean. Dining in St Barths is akin to eating in the best restauarants in Paris but surrounded by Ocean views and breeszes. We have a list of our personal favorite restaurants that we will be happy to share with you. There are over 50 restaurants on the island and there are phenominal dining options for any budget.
Question: Does Villa Dolce Vita offer internet service?
Answer: Villa Dolce Vita has a broadband wireless internet connection so you can stay connected to your friends, family and work (work only if need be) while you are away. So enjoy your laptop by the pool! There is no computer in the villa so make sure you bring your lap top to stay connected.
Question: Is there a gym nearby?
Answer: Yes, the St Barths gym is located in Grand Cul de Sac, about a 10 minute drive from the villa.

Saint-Barthelemy - often referred to as St Barths or St Barts - is a treasure in the Caribbean sun.
St Bart is a little more than eight square miles. Steep hills divide the island into several valleys, usually open on one side to the sea.
St Barths was claimed by the French in 1648, passed into Swedish hands in 1784, to be bought back by the French in 1877. Thus the island remains distinctly French in manner and custom. You don't need to speak French as most natives speak English.
The shoreline includes fourteen beaches of various sizes, all covered with gleaming white sand. Many are protected from ocean swells by a fringing reef. By law theses beaches are all open to public, so stop and feel the sand between your toes at any of them.
There is one town, and a dozen villages, distributed more or less evenly over the landscape.
The St Barths lifestyleis very informal -- jacket and tie are never required. Year-round temperatures are remarkably constant, with daytime highs ordinarily between 80 and 85F and nightime lows around 65F.
Local electrical current is 220-volt 60 hertz, so be sure to bring an adapter for any 120-volt American electronics. St Barths is in the Atlantic time zone, which is the same as America's Eastern Daylight Time.
St Barts' requires visitors to bring a valid passport.
