CA17 - Carina - This Wonderful Home has been restored to the highest standards, the owner of this lovely property is a contractor. Like most homes on the coast, you have to park the car and walk up a set of stairs to get to the house. This set has about seventy before you reach the front door. But they are the steps to paradise and the climb isn't a difficult one. A beautiful and peaceful home, you have views from every room. Relax on the terrace outside the kitchen door surrounded by abundent colorful flowers spilling everywhere you look or enjoy dinner under the olive tree, make a pizza in the wood burning oven as you sit under the lemon tree or just sit and gaze out over the water with your glass of homemade wine from the owner's own cantina. Sunbathe on the roof top terrace in complete privacy. At the bottom of the steps from the house is a small piazza where you can sit and relax. The town of Praiano is a 20 minute walk down from the house.
When you open the door you'll step into a small entrance hall and a spacious living room with a large balcony overlooking the coast and blue waters. The spiral staircase wraps around the small and cozy dining area and at the back of the house is a beautiful hand painted tiled bathroom with jacuzzi that has windows opening on to the gardens below and the sea beyond. The master bedroom has beautifully vaulted ceilings and French doors leading out to a balcony overlooking the sea and the town of Praiano below you. The magnificent kitchen is a masterpiece of beautiful local tiles and a large wooden table. A carved wooden door leads out to the terrace filled with wonderfully scented flowers and lemon trees where steps will take you down to the terraced garden with a wood burning oven, cantina and washing machine. Back inside, the beautiful staircase leads you to another double bedroom and a bathroom with shower and a door that leads to the rooftop terrace with terracotta and blue azure tiles and views that go on forever.

The house is on the upper end of Praiano. The bus stop is 50 meters below the house, which will take you directly into Praiano and on to Positano and Amalfi. It runs hourly June - September and every two hours the rest of the year. Restaurants are within a fifteen to twenty minute walk or can be reached by bus.
If you prefer not to have a car, we can arrange a driver to pick you up in Naples, Sorrento or Rome. Please inquire at time of booking. Car park space available at an additional charge.
