VE02 - Villa Teresa - This is an ideal location for touring the Veneto and Emilia Romagna and for exploring lesser known areas of both. Villa Teresa’s atmosphere is one of an elegant private villa. Situated in an unspoiled region of Italy, you will be able to enjoy true Italian life. The spacious grounds are surrounded by a 15 acre nature park and includes a chapel and reception rooms, making this a perfect setting for weddings.
The villa’s spacious interiors are furnished with antiques. All of the upper rooms have views of the Po River.
The gracious English speaking owner lives in a wing of this magnificent villa, and a few small cottages on the estate share the large outdoor spaces. The owner loves this area of Italy and is happy to share it with you. It is like having your own personal concierge, she will glady help you with any type of tour arrangements of the area. A popular one is a barge trip that leaves from the nearby town and heads east to Venice, making stops along the way for guided tours of a couple of the 70 grand Palladio and Tiepolo villas that were originally built by noble families as their summer homes.
Being right at the mouth of the Po Delta, there are channels , indles and dunes to fascinate the most avid nature enthusiast.
Boat rentals, hiking trails, bird sacntuaries, shops and restaurants are just a 5 minutes drive from the villa.
This villa is the setting of Lord Byron’s famous poem, “Stanzas to the Po” he wrote while staying here. Byron not only fell in love with this area, he also fell in love with the owner’s wife, Teresa, who left her husband for the writer becoming his last love.

The first two bedrooms on this floor, are a double size bedroom and a double/twin bedroom. Both bedrooms share a bathroom with tub. The third bedroom is a double/twin with two single beds that can be joined and has an en suite bathroom with tub and a classic French balcony.
Second Floor
There are two bedrooms on this floor, a queen sized bedroom with a working fireplace and a queen sized bedroom with an en suite bathroom with tub.
