Mountain Laurel Chalets is a premier chalet rental company nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. Over 140 hideaway chalets and cabins to chose from all located on the mountain high above the village of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Offering cozy one bedrooms up to spacious eleven and twelve bedrooms, we have something for everyone. Honeymooners love our small chalets with a bubbling hot tub overlooking a majestic mountain view or secluded woods. Business groups and family reunions come back year after year to enjoy accommodations with all the modern conveniences of home, plus more.
A chalet is perfect any time of year. In spring, the mountains come alive with new growth from the winter slumber when flowers, shrubs and blooming trees are in abundance. Renew your spirit as you revel in the beauty of nature surrounding your mountain chalet nestled in the woods. World renowned Dollywood Amusement Park opens for the season in mid-April with their Festival of Nations.
Summer is our season to shine when the mountain bursts at the seams with activity. Three recreation areas are offered to guests of our chalets with amenities such as outdoor swimming, tennis, ping-pong and billiards. Or, if you can't get enough play time in at the clubhouse, how about a pool table right in your chalet? We've got that too. Stroll the two miles of downtown and take in museums, shopping and endless choices of dining. Smoky Mountain Tunes and Tales places authentic mountain characters on the streets of the city to entertain guests with stories, crafts and music of the old days.
The fall foliage is outstanding in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park when God uses His most vibrant colors to paint a landscape that will take your breath away. Image sitting on your front porch watching the sun set on a mountain so clear that you can count the trees. You've got to see it to believe it. Crafters from across the nation come here to show their wares at the Craftmen's Fair, or you can visit our own year-round artisans in the Arts and Crafts Community.
There is never a shortage of things to do in the wintertime. All of our chalets are conveniently located on Ski Mountain with the ski resort Ober Gatlinburg where downhill skiing and snowboarding, indoor ice-skating and other fun things to do can be found. If you aren't the sports enthusiast type, how does a crackling fire sound? Or, sitting in your steamy hot tub while the snow falls on you? It's a piece of heaven here on earth.
