Immersed in the gently rolling hills of the Valpantena and surrounded by prized Valpolicella vineyards, Villa Veronese offers a private and tasteful accommodation and easy proximity to northern Italy's most romantic cities. Verona, the city of Romeo & Juliet is an uncomplicated 20 minute drive away.
In addition to stunning vistas and a strategic location, this spacious home enjoys comfortable and attractive décor, two working fireplaces, a billiard room and a washing machine. A swimming pool and furnished terraces for outdoor dining are positioned to look out over the vineyards. Mid week maid service, available on Wednesday or meals may be requested when booking. Firewood is included in the price.
Some of Italy's finest wines, such as Amarone, Valpolicella and Recioto are produced in the adjacent vineyards. Being in such close proximity to these vineyards allows those fascinated by the art of viniculture a unique opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of the annual harvest firsthand during the latter part of September.
The small village of Romagnano, one mile away has a grocery store. Grezzana, less than 10 minutes by car has shops, supermarkets, restaurants and café bars. A 20 minute drive north leads to the Lessini mountains for winter skiing or summer hiking. Soave with its wines is within 25; Vicenza: 50; Padova, Lake Garda or Mantova: 60; and Venice or Treviso: 90.

Property Activities
Shopping and dining: The small village of Romagnano, a mile away has one grocery shop. Grezzana, less than 10 minutes by car has supermarkets, a pizzeria, three trattorias, café bars, a post office, banks and a pharmacy.
Not to be missed: Villa Arvedi, an impressive villa with Italianate gardens, in Grezzana.
Golf: The Verona Golf Course near Sommacampagna is within a half hour drive.
Outdoor activities: In the immediate area you will find walking trails. A 20 minute drive north near Bosco Chiesanuova, there are mountains for hiking in summer and skiing in winter. Lake Garda and Gardaland, Italy's most famous amusement park open from March to the end of October in Peschiera are within a one hour drive.
Special Events: Vinitaly, an international known wine expo takes place in Verona during the first week of April. In July and August the arena of Verona hosts its world-renowned opera festival.
Open air market: On the third Saturday of every month there is an antiques, artisan and art market at Sagrato Basilica of S. Zeno in Verona.
