This 2,700 square foot home, right in the heart of the Chugach Mountains, is surrounded by a combination of Sitka Spruce, Willow and Birch trees it is also centrally located to enjoy the best the Kenai Peninsula has to offer.

Take your pick from the Sea Life Center in Seward to the halibut fishing in Homer. Activities include rafting, biking, hiking, canoeing/ kayaking , camping & clamming. Fishing in both rivers & lakes for a combination of all five species of salmon and trophy rainbow trout plus deep-sea fishing for Halibut, Rockfish, Lingcod, Salmon sharks and King, Silver & Red salmon fishing.

A detailed list of quality fishing guides, bank fishing spots, rental places for pontoon boat’s, canoes and kayaks, shops, restaurants & sightseeing areas will be provided to our customers to help guide you through the many opportunities for both fishing, sightseeing and shopping in Cooper Landing, Soldotna, Hope, Kenai, Clam Gulch, Deep Creek, Seward & Anchorage.

Additional Rate Information

Rates are $350.00 per night week days (Mon-Thur) and $375.00 per night weekends (Fri-Sun)

These rates are based on an occupancy of 4 Persons. Two night minimum. Each additional person up to the 10 is $25.00 per person per night. $150.00 deposit is due at booking for 2-nights, $550.00

deposit is due for one week, $875.00 deposit is due for 2-weeks. Any rental

over 2-weeks can be discussed.

Enjoying your stay is easy at Kenai River Bed-n-Breakfast, we are certain you’ll enjoy our large 2700 SF home with 156 feet of frontage on the beautiful Kenai River. Amenities : Master bedroom with private bathroom, furnished private balcony, king size bed & sitting area. 2 queen size bedrooms, one bunk room, game room with two full-size futons, upstairs full bathroom, downstairs 3/4 bathroom with shower, two car garage with freezer for fish storage, Riverside picnic area with fire pit and BBQ grill, screened gazebo with picnic table over looking the river.

Also included are the fixings for a continental breakfast of coffee, tea, juice, cereal, instant oatmeal & frozen waffles.

The house features full-sized furnished kitchen, full size washer and dryer in utility room, with DSL wireless Internet .

Cooper Landing:

Located on the emerald green Kenai River, Cooper Landing is one of the most popular sport fishing destinations in the world, fish include King , Silver &, Red Salmon, trophy Rainbow Trout and Dolly Vardon ( Arctic Char) . The world record king salmon, which weighed about 97 pounds, was caught in the Kenai River in 1985, upper Kenai River record native rainbow trout is 42 plus pounds. A multitude of wildlife calls the Kenai River area home including Black & Brown Bear, Doll Sheep, Mountain Goats, Moose, Wolves, Wolverines,Beavers, Bald Eagles, Trumpeter Swans, Loons and many other Birds & Ducks.

Fishing is the most popular activity on the Kenai Peninsula. From the backyard of the Kenai River Bed-n-Breakfast you can motorboat up to Kenai lake or drift down to Skilak Lake and beyond. The town of Seward about 48 miles from the house is full of activities for the whole family, from the many small shops that carry local artwork, carvings and various other items to the offshore fishing which range from short half-day salmon runs to full day deep sea fishing, there are also wildlife viewing cruises with both half day, full day trips, also dinner cruises. The wildlife ( Humpback whales, Gray whales & Killer whales, otters, puffins, sea lions, and many other birds) is spectacular.

Going the other direction you pass through Soldotna on the way to homer all of these towns have more local shops, restaurants, wood carving, fishing and other shopping opportunities. The spit in Homer is a must-see, the views are incredible & the fishing is great The shops are fun to walk through and browse for the day or afternoon.

There are also many excellent hiking trails within five to 15 minutes of the House, all of these are located in the Resurrection Pass Trail system and they range from one hour hikes to how much energy do you have. There is also the Russian River confluence which has a beautiful short hike up to the falls and some incredible bank fishing for red salmon and bear viewing, rafting, drift boat, kayak, and guided bike trips are available in Cooper Landing.
