| Deposits: This is a non-smoking home and absolutely no pets are allowed. Although our home accommodates a maximum of ten people, up to two children under the age of ten may stay in addition to ten adults.
To keep our home beautiful for your enjoyment, a cleaning fee of $250.00 is charged per reservation. A charge of $700.00 security deposit, due 30 days before check-in. |

About Quail Mountain Retreat
Quail Mountain includes a large home that sleeps 10 guests on 26 acres of land, 350 feet above the Napa Valley on a heavily forested mountain range. Entering the property from Highway 29, you drive alongside our 12-acre cabernet sauvignon vineyard and fruit orchard. You enter our forest through an antique wrought iron gate and begin the ascent to our home. As you climb the hill, you see redwood, madrone,manzanita, oak, and Douglas fir trees. We share this pristine forest with deer, raccoons, squirrels, numerous species of birds and our beloved quail and hummingbirds. We are within walking distance of three wineries, five miles north of St. Helena, and one mile south of Calistoga.
Quail Mountain was designed for luxury. Our home includes a large, comfortable livingroom with fireplace, a diningroom that seats up to 10, a large, fully equipped kitchen, and five bedrooms. The bedrooms include one queen and four king beds, each with its own private bath and deck. The large, cozy beds are covered with 600-count cotton sheets and goose down comforters. The vaulted ceilings and skylights in each room allow your guests to take full advantage of the beautiful light on Quail Mountain while enjoying total privacy. Our large sunny solarium serves as a gathering area for you and your guests to enjoy the views of the valley floor or the warmth of a fire in winter, as well as our tranquil setting.

Napa Valley offers a great variety of activities. You can hike among first-growth redwoods, ride a bike through rolling green hills and valleys, play golf on a 5-star course, take a ride in a hot air balloon, or sit in a tub of warm mud followed by a soothing massage. At the end of an active day of play, visit one of the local wineries to sample their wares. Quail Mountain is walking distance from Stonegate, Clos Pegase, and Sterling vineyards.
When you're not out tasting at the wineries, soaking in the mud baths, or taking in other Napa Valley attractions, you can find peace and quiet at Quail Mountain. You can relax in one of the varied garden settings on our 26-acre estate. Or you can walk down to our own vineyard and pass through stands of very old manzanita, redwood, madrone, oak, and Douglas fir trees.
During your walk, be sure to keep an eye out for quail, deer, wild turkeys, and other wildlife. In fact, if you're not looking, you might trip over one of our feathered friends!
