Property Information
Homestead cabin is a majestic stone house in Teton Village, where winter is just celebrated as summer. The doors open out to the slopes, just steps away. Tall windows hold views of the ski village, the trails, the craggy mountains, the aspens, the sky. The sterling quality of Homestead, as in a great hotel, is apparent everywhere you look - sumptuous linens, towels and robes; gleaming wood floors; an impressive collection of original Western art and sculpture.
Many of the furnishings are hand-built - twig chairs, burnished wood tables, a gorgeous balustrade of coppery aspen branches. Homestead has three spacious bedrooms and one suite, each with a private bath - some quite luxuriouos, with deep tubs and walk-in showers. The big, well-appointed master bedroom is on the second floor, as is a queen bedroom.
The second floor also holds the living room, with it soaring cut stone fireplace and log-trussed cathedral ceiling, the dining room and a first-rate kitchen. On the first floor, where the exterior walls are of stone, there is a two-car garage, a bedroom with twin beds and private bath, and a suite that has a queen bed, two twins and a separate sitting area.
Just outside the dining room, visible through a wall of windows, is a stone terrace with a hot tub. The slopes, the Four Seasons, and the Grand Teton National Park are all but a short walk away. Homestead Cabin is a spectacular getaway for a group of friends or an extended family; close to everything, lacking nothing.
