This cottage is located in the pristine Pecos River Canyon. It is a great alternative to the work it takes to go camping! Stay in this adorable cabin on a hill surrounded by Santa Fe National forest and walk to the Pecos River for fishing and swimming. The cabin is located within a gated compound of only two other cabins, so it has excellent privacy and is a wonderful retreat after a day of shopping in Santa Fe or hiking the nearby wilderness. Sit in the evenings on the deck and enjoy the clear New Mexico skies and sounds of nature.

minute drive to Santa Fe. There is nearby access to fishing, hiking, scenic driving, river
rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking, and sightseeing at historical sites. In addition
Santa Fe offers its museums, galleries, excellent shopping, fine restaurants and
entertainment and the world famous Santa Fe Opera.

Pecos, New Mexico is located between Santa Fe and Las Vegas, New Mexico, at the site of a mountain pass used by travelers for centuries. This pass was used by ancient nomadic Indian tribes, by travelers on the Santa Fe Trail and was the site of a Civil War battle that changed the course of the war and of our United States of America.
Pecos is a small, friendly village perched at the edge of a vast wilderness area still pristine in its offerings of fly fishing, hiking and camping.
PECOS is a gateway allowing travel from the Great Plains to Santa Fe through the southern Rocky Mountains.
The trail was used by Indian tribes, Spanish settlers, traders on the Santa Fe Trail, Civil War soldiers and cruisers on Route 66.
Today's travelers take I-25 on their journey between Santa Fe and Las Vegas, New Mexico. Pecos-Glorieta Pass exit 299 and the Rowe exit 307 are both a scenic six mile drive to the center of Pecos.
