Property Information
The Cabrita Point peninsular is one of the last lightly developed and geographically desirable areas on St. Thomas. It's peaceful, quite seclusion is a prized characteristic of 'island life.' The convenient "East End" location is known for it's accessibility to the community of Red Hook with it's shopping, marina and ferry dock with connections to The British Virgin Islands, downtown Charlotte Amalie and St. John. The proximity to beaches is another advantage. A 5 minute drive to Bluebeard's Beach where the Ritz Carlton is located, 10 minutes to Sapphire Beach and 15 minutes to the famous Magens Bay.
The Haus is entered through a gated courtyard with colorful bouganvilla cascading over the garden wall. Here you can grill and dine on one of 3 outdoor table sets. Two more on the seaside enable you to enjoy alfresco meals on the covered terrace overlooking the water and the beautiful island of Great St. James.
Once through the double custom mahogany doors you enter the cool, verdant "Palm Court" from where your view over the infinity edge pool sweeps you away to the distant shores.
The fully airconditioned Haus has a Great Room to the left as you enter. It is decorated with a custom designed three sofa seating area under a high cypress tray ceiling that looks out towards the sea and islands like a huge living painting with ever changing color and content.
Beyond is the gourmet kitchen with Stainless steel Kitchen Aid appliances, including six-burner duel-fuel range, dishwasher, French door refrigerator and microwave. The central island has an additional under counter icemaker and two bar chairs. All topped with African red granite. The custom mahogany cabinets are stocked with professional stainless cookware, a wok, colorful dishes, glassware, stainless flatware, all cooking utensils, wine glasses and champagne flutes. Of course there's a blender, 4 slice toaster, coffee-maker and mixer. A chef's dream with 'dream chef's available by reservation.
The adjoining coral- colored dining room is entered through large arched doorways from either the kitchen or Great room and is isolated from the 'kitchen commotion' of food preparation. The 6 ft. round table comfortably seats 10 and is crowned with a designer, crystal chandelier. The picture window to the east frames the view of St. John, which at evening is an island flickering with jewels.
Each themed and airconditioned bedroom suite is furnished with a king-sized bed, with 600 thread-count sheets, flat screen T.V., DVD player, phone and terrace with an incredible view through sliding doors.
"Antilles" epitomizes the West Indian flavor with a mahogany, pineapple four-poster bed draped with a romantic mosquito net, large armoire and other island style furnishings. Its bath is Rosa Verona marble with a whirlpool tub, separate glass shower, double vanity with the latest glass vessel sinks, toilet and bidet.
"Africa" is decorated with a bamboo four poster bed, bamboo furnishings and African accessories.
"Asia" has a sleek, Asian inspired fourposter and antique accessories, a handcarved green stone Buddah from Bali awaits on the terrace.
"Australia" is the room 'down under,' down under the pool, that is. Accessed from a beautiful spiral staircase from the pool deck or from the lower level of the Haus, Australia has a very private, quite seclusion from the activities above.
An arched, double door separates Australia from the America's Cup Suite. The A.C.S. has a full stainless and mahogany kitchen, living-dining room combination, king bed and bath. With the use of the double sleep sofa, it is an ideal situation for a couple with small children to have them close at hand. Nearby 'Australia' could be used for older children or a nanny.
And last, but not least, the Media Room has a three piece leather seating group with a queen sleep sofa, a wet bar, under counter refrigerator, 65" flat screen T.V., new HP computer, Fax/phone, printer and scanner. By the way, the Haus has WIFI throughout and a 40 kw. generator with automatic switching so you'll never be with out those creature comforts.
With everything Cabrita Cliff Haus has to offer, you'll never have to leave and you'll never want to, either. It's captivating beauty is something that you'll enjoy today and it's memories you will take home and enjoy forever.

This has been a wonderful vacation with great friends and one we will never forget. The Cabrita Cliff Haus lived up to every expectation! It is a stunning home with breathtaking views of the Caribbean. We truly enjoyed every moment we spent here but we especially enjoyed the outdoor living area. Many hours during both the day and night were spent listening to the waves break below. Your home is georgeous in every detail. Our group hopes to make this trip again someday. This has been a most wonderful and memorable experience. The house is a dream come true, and everything in it is so beautiful and appropriate. The view, of course, is more than spectacular. We never tired of looking at the wonderful movement of the ocean and feeling the breeze from the bay waters. It will be a week to remember forever, especially memorable because our entire nuclear family was here - we (the two grandparents) our four "kids" and with the two married ones, on of their spouses and two children each. My two granddaughters who are grown up, and the two small grand children (boys 4 yrs old and 2 yrs old) all had a wonderful time. This house is decorated with such divine taste. Wow! Has this been great!!! Everything is so beautiful - the home, the setting, the amenities. Such beautiful quality and craftsmanship in every aspect. The kitchen was a joy for my mom and me and Cassandra (Passionfruit Chef) was thrilled to perform in it since she got to tour the home right before it was finished. The only bad thing is having to leave :(. We all got a kick out of feeding the iguana family that lives out by the solar panels. They especially enjoyed tomato cubes and bread. Thank you for a wonderful vacation. We hope to come back soon.
