Nestled in the trees and located 10 minutes away from the bustle of Cruz Bay, this charming one bedroom home takes full advantage of the breezy trade winds and the shade provided by the umbrella of native trees that surround the house. Looking west the veranda offers sunset views of the calming waters of Fish Bay, to the East a short walk takes you down a path to the breathtaking beach at Reef Bay within the National Park forests. Reef Bay has a luxurious long beach and is a shell seekers' dream. Off the beaten path, offering lots of privacy, it is possible to have the beach all to your self at times. If you are a couple that enjoys the serenity of the native forests and are looking for a private getaway, this comfortable cottage is for you! Tranquility was built with care and sensitivity to the flora and fauna that surround it, giving the feeling that you are one with nature.

There is a twin size daybed in the Master Bedroom and a double size futon in the den. Air conditioning is optional in the master bedroom. Tranquility can accommodate 3 adults and a child (in Master Bedroom daybed) or a family of 4 with 2 small children - it is perfect for a couple or for 3 adults but not suitable for 4 adults.
Property Activities
Fish Bay is a quiet residential area with a mix of full time residences and vacation villas. While not far from town, Tranquility is situated all by itself on a little knoll with a lovely view of the Bay and the surrounding foliage. A short footpath through the native, tropical forest will take you to the big 15 by 30' swimming pool, which you will usually have all to yourself. Other short walks will take you to Reef Bay, Cocoloba Beach, Fish Bay, Ditleff Point and hiking trails through the National Park. The cottage's big verandah provides fantastic views of the starlite night sky where you may sit and relax or take your dinner. Speaking of dinner, Tranquility is only 10 minutes from Cruz Bay, making it very conveniently located for dining on the town. There are many fine restaurants, shops and art galleries to enjoy in the evening as well as by day and it is an easy trek from here to there with all roads paved.

Please ask about children as we have grandchildren and access to the things they need. Also handicap access - there are only 2 steps and the carport is level with two steps and the entire house and deck area is on the same floor. Air conditioning is optional in the master bedroom. smoking indoors is not permitted but there is plenty of outside deck space front and back where one may smoke.
