Property Information
Cove Cottage is situated along with Cove House on 2 acres of private woodlands with spectacular water views of Blue Hill Bay. Only a short distance from the ocean, there are wonderful water views with forest covered islands in the distance. Eagles, deer, fox and giant blue herons are often sighted on the property or the surrounding protected marshlands. Guests can enjoy exploring the ocean’s edge via the walking right of way to the shore or launch their kayak to visit one of the most beautiful coastal areas of the island.
Cove Cottage (sleeps 6) and can be rented along with Cove House (sleeps 10) for family reunions or large get togethers.
There is a large deck overlooking the water. There are a table and chairs and barbecue grill.
The first floor has one bedroom with queen size memory foam bed, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, full bath and washer/dryer, and living/dining room.
The second floor contains a Master bedroom with queen size select Comfort bed, a loft sitting area with a double fold out couch, a small deck and a Master bathroom with jacuzzi style tub/shower. All linens are provided, fluffy down quilts on comfortable beds, charmingly furnished, immaculately clean. Phone, flat screen satellite TV, wireless internet and DVD/CD are also provided.
Additional Rate Information
Rates are for 4 people. $20/day for each additional person up to a maximum of 6 people.
Vacation Rental Policies
| Payment Options: Check and money order in US currency only. |
| Check In: Check in any time after 4 PM on Saturday. Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday. |
| Check Out: Check out by 10 AM on Saturday |
| Required Stay: One week |
| Deposits: Deposit: 50% of total amount upon making reservation. Reservation will be held for 1 week while awaiting deposit. Balance is due 30 days before arrival. |
| Lodging Tax: 7% Maine State Lodging Tax is applicable on all rentals of less than 31 days. |
| Cancellation Policy: Payment refunded in event of cancellation if rerented for entire period. Any additional cost needed to rerent will be deducted from payment. |
| Other Fees: Security Deposit: $200 for Cove Cottage refunded the week after departure if all is left as found. |
| Other Policies: Smoking allowed on outside deck only. |
