Vacation Rental Policies
| Required Stay: 4 night minimum |
| Deposits: Reservations and Payment
Four-night minimum stay is required,
with a 50% down payment to hold reservation.
Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
$250 USD security deposit must be made at time
of down payment – which is fully refundable as
long as no damage is inflicted to the house and its
contents. |
| Cancellation Policy: Cancellations or Refunds
In case of cancellation:
- 31 days or more before arrival,
full refund minus $100 USD administrative charge.
- 30 days or less, no refund, unless house is re-
rented, minus $100 USD administrative charge. |
| Other Policies: Huatulco has its own airport and is just a 2.5-hour direct flight from Houston, a 50-minute flight from Mexico City, and a 171-mile drive from Oaxaca.

for general house cleaning.

La Crucesita, Huatulco’s downtaown area, is a charming town complete with a central plaza and park, a picturesque church,
excellent dining, internet cafes, ice cream parlors, a mercado and many shops that offer Mexican handcrafts and souvenirs.
Several convenience stores, a supermarket, liquor stores and bakeries also cater to visitors.
In addition to the myriad natural wonders that lure visitors from
around the world to Huatulco, the area is developing many tourist-friendly activities just a short cab drive from Casa Tulco.
Birding In Mexico
The national parks of Huatulco and the many protected natural
reserves, are the perfect place for a guided birding tour in
Huatulco. Among the bird's you wil likely encounter are the
White thoated Magpie-Jay, the Rufus Motmot, the Lineated
and Pale-billed Woodpeckers, the Cinnamon Hummingbird,
and the Orange Bunting. There are several bird species endemic to the area, making
Huatulco a must stop destination for anyone interested in
birdwatching in Mexico. In addition to the numerous birds,
there is an abundance of butterflyes that make Huatulco home.
Santa Cruz Bay is the port of call for the seasonal cruises that arrive in Huatulco, and is the departing point for
boats taking visitors on tours of the nine bays. It also has a souvenir market, banks, beach club, discotheque
and the famous Cafe Huatulco, which serves delicious locally grown coffee.
Tangolunda Bay is the grandest of the Huatulco bays, housing the majority of Huatulco's four-star hotels, one of the best golf courses on the Pacific Coast, and numerous shops, restaurants and sports outfitters.
Nearby Towns such as Juchitan and Tehuatentepec are brimming with authenticity, life, and history. if you plan on staying in Huatulco several days, consider a day trip away from town to immerse yourself in these vibrant cultures. |
