Property Information
Villa Cayman is reminiscent of the Caribbean plantation houses of the 19th century. Features such as huge windows facing the Caribbean Sea, heavy timber open rafter ceilings, and a 40' wide great room will transport you to a time and place reserved for the privileged few. This gated private estate offers a pool, white sand beach and the villa can be stocked according to your needs. Linens are changed every week along with a light cleaning, and there will always be information or advice just a phone call away. All of this service - at no extra charge! Pure Paradise! The white sand beach is the only separation between you and the Caribbean sea. 'Frank Sound' is the name given to the reef protected blue waters at the edge of your beach. The barrier reef is over 3000 yards away, taming the waters in between. The private estate is lushly covered in flora of the tropics and will provide a wonderful memory of your idyllic vacation on Grand Cayman.

The Villa Cayman compound consists of a 40' wide central pavilion (kitchen, living and dining); a separate master suite pavilion with a glass blocked private exterior shower / bath; and a 2 BR & loft pavilion all connected by wooden bridges. In addition there is a pool with barbecue patio, and kayaks are available for use within the reef-protected lagoon. Sweet and spicy aromas of night blooming jasmine, and gardenia fill the night air.

The house is incredible. We spent time over the week to tour the entire island and we all agreed that Villa Cayman would be our first choice. The north end had little breeze and the NW end was too crowded for our taste but the center of the south end was perfect.
We used Ocean Frontiers, dove 5 days and had an incredible underwater experience. The dive sites offered different perspectives each time. We had a couple of kayaks dropped off for the week and we enjoyed boating around the sound area too. We went to Rum Point one afternoon, walked the Botanical Garden, snorkled at Eden Point one day but mostly enjoyed the house, pool and seclusion your place offered.

The house was fantastic. Very spacious, clean and well furnished. I enjoyed having my own private pool as a break from the beach. The house could easily accomodate two families of four, not counting the guest house in back. We only had minor problems while staying there: the hot water in the outdoor shower was either unheated or scalding and we could not operate the TV in the master, but those issues did not slow us down very much. The location was very secluded with only a dozen people walking past the house the entire two weeks we were there. The water in front of the house was not optimal for swimming/wading as there was grass growing along the bottom. The property manager's suggestions for car rental, restaurants and entertainment were accurate and very helpful. Anyone would enjoy staying in this house!

This was an amazing place to stay and get married we plan on our anniversary's to come back and enjoy the beautiful island and the beautiful home that we were married in. |
