Property Information
Capture the essence of relaxed, beautiful Bequia with a stay at the Hilltop Villa. This is the place where you can while away the hours watching the sailboats come and go in the harbor or choose between two wonderful beaches just a short walk from the villa. Lower Bay beach, while never crowded has several restaurants and beach bars for those times when you crave a little stimulation, or walk down to Princess Margaret beach for its fine white sands, calm clear waters, and excellent swimming.
Hilltop Villa has much to offer the vacationing family or group of friends. The villa can sleep ten in five bedrooms, three are doubles and two with twin beds. All rooms are screened and have ceiling fans and nets. There are three baths.
Most of our guests dine al fresco on the terrace or you may choose to dine indoors or on your porch overlooking the yacht harbor.

Property Activities
Hilltop Villa is centrally located in a quiet residential neighborhood a few minutes drive to town where you will find grocery stores, shops, restaurants, and the two scuba diving shops. You also are only a few minute drive to the picturesque beach of Friendship Bay.
LOCATION:
Bequia is nine miles South of St. Vincent and is the most developed of the Grenadines islands. The island is accessible by passenger ferry from St. Vincent and a small airport offers air transportation from Barbados, Mustique, St. Vincent and other neighboring islands.
THINGS TO DO:
The island is about 9 square miles and is truly the “Natural Place to Be”, with its numerous white sandy beaches, turquoise, tropical waters and friendly, fun loving people. The small island offers numerous opportunities for excellent sailing, scuba diving and snorkeling as well as deep sea fishing and tours to uninhabited islands. Hike to remote beaches and the Turtle Sanctuary. Free live local music is available most nights at various restaurants.
GETTING AROUND:
Local Taxi - rates are fixed to various destinations and island tours are available.
Dollar Van - just stop a van and pay a 1-4 EC dollars from Port Elizabeth to most destinations for a genuine local experience.
Water Taxi - can be found at hotel jetties and will take you around the harbor area and the beaches.
Rental Car/Motor Bike - can be arranged with advance notice for those wishing the independence of their own vehicle. A temporary driving license, costing EC$50, must be purchased at the police station with the presentation of a valid overseas driver’s license. If you have an International Driving Permit you must get it stamped at the central police. Please remember driving is on the LEFT.
Walk/Bike - You can take a scenic tour of the island on foot, explore the many trails and old roads. Hike in to little used, remote beaches. Mountain bikes are also available for rental.

ELECTRICITY: 220V 50 Hertz, American appliances will require a transformer.
Accessibility: There are a number of stairs to access the villa and its various levels. Persons with mobility problems would find access difficult. |
