Located on the East End of St. Thomas (USVI), Villa Maitland is an historic “Eden on the Shores” where you, your family and friends will enjoy the same privacy and comfort that has made this one acre estate a beloved gathering place for an extended family for more than two generations. Complete with a private beach and sweeping views of St. John, Tortola, and Thatch Cay, this truly original addition to the rental market boasts an expansive three bedroom main house as well as a 2 bedroom guest cottage. Enjoy the island breezes by the pool, a game of horseshoes or an evening fire-pit on the beach. The grounds include a beachfront tiki hut, koi pond, atrium garden, private pier and deck and a hammock strung between coconut palms just feet from the lapping surf. Beyond your private sandy beach, a sheltered cove gives way to the phenomenal snorkeling of Pelican Point. Grab the kayak for an excursion to a nearby beach or just relax in the privacy of your own island retreat.

Our rates vary depending on the season and the number in the party. Due to general wear and tear on the property we offer much lower rates for smaller parties. Please inquire for further information.
Peak season is from November through April.

In addition to the 5 bedrooms there are 3 queen sleeper sofas in living spaces throughout the house and cottage. Each one of these has access to its own bathroom as well.

The House and Guest Cottage both open up onto a large patio with a pool , luxury sunbeds and a table and chairs for dining al fresco. Beyond the Pool the patio continues with steps down to your private beach complete with a thatched tiki hut and a lovely water side hammock. You can take a dip in the ocean in your gentle, protected sandy cove, or get more adventurous with snorkel gear or the kayak and discover the beautiful reefs of Pelican Point just beyond the pier. We have a concierge available for requests. From Spas to sightseeing, we can will be happy to help you organize your vacation! The property is very private, with lots of open space to relax and unwind. It will feel like your private estate away from it all-- perfect for larger groups (6-12+) but we will also consider discounts for smaller parties who are interested.
