Vacation Rental Description

Beachfront property: The best in Playa del Carmen! El Taj Ocean is located in the Premier Zone of Playa, on the beach. All units have beachfront views.

Unit 341 is the largest one bedroom, closest to the beach with views from all rooms is the the only unit to also have a 75 square foot private balcony off the master bedroom. Washer and Dryer, full kitchen, large living room and bathroom and a terrace off the living room and kitchen.

Guests receive complimentary beach chairs at the onsite Indigo Beach Club and complimentary use of The Gym, located at our sister property, Porto Playa, 1 block away from El Taj Ocean. Guests can also use the El Taj Ocean Pool or the pool on the El Taj Beach property across the street.

El Taj Ocean has 1, 2, and 3 bedroom condo's as well as 2 and 3 bedroom penthouse units. Penthouses also have a private rooftop with jacuzzi, gas grill, lounge furniture and pallapa. El taj Ocean is located in the heart of Playa that offers the convenience of having the best restaurants, nightlife and shopping within one block from your vacation home.

Check In: Check in is after 2:00 PM. If you arrive early we can secure your luggage until your condo is ready. Check out is at 12:00 PM. For late departures our fitness club can secure your luggage and provide you with lockers, showers, towels and toiletries so tha

Check Out: Check out is at 12:00 PM. For late departures our fitness club can secure your luggage and provide you with lockers, showers, towels and toiletries so that you can enjoy the remainder of the day and freshen up for your return trip.

Deposits: Reservations may be made by major credit cards (American Express, Visa, Master Card, Discover Card) and Paypal. Upon approval 50% of the total reservation amount will be charged to your credit card. The balance is due (30) thirty days prior to your arrival date. This balance will be automatically charged to the credit card on file. If the balance is not approved we will attempt to contact you in order to select an other method of payment. Failure to make the balance payment within two days from notification will result in cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of the deposit on file. We recommend that you purchase Travel Insurance. All rates are in US Dollars. In cases where the arrival date is less than (30) sixty days your credit card will be charged the total amount.

Lodging Tax: 14%

Cancellation Policy: 20% of the Condo Hotel rental price if the cancellation is received 30 days prior to the beginning of the rental period. The total Condo Hotel rental price will be forfeited for any cancellations received after the 30th day prior to the beginning to the rental period.

We are happy to help you with a reservation for any of the units in El Taj Ocean. We have 1, 2, 3 bedroom units (3 bedrooms are all on the beach) as well as 2 and 3 BR penthouses (penthouses have private rooftops with gas grill, jacuzzi, lounge furniture and palapa. My promises to you: 1. I respond to all emails within hours. 2. I want you to have the right property for your needs and desires even if it means renting you another unit (not ours) in any of our 5 properties: Porto Playa, El Taj Ocean, El Taj Beach, Maya Villa or Villas Sacbe, or someone else’s property 3. I will be honest with you on any and all questions you may have. My goal is for you to have a fabulous experience and come back again.
