The CABIN BY THE LAKE features a full kitchen and three bedrooms with double beds, two double beds in the attic, and two roll-away beds on the porch. Pets are NOT allowed, No Smoking.
The swimming area is within 50 yards walk. We have a paddle boat for you to use at no extra charge, a pontoon available for an additional $150 per day, and jet-ski, fishing, or ski boat available for rent at the marina only 100 yards away.
At 1000 acres Diamond Lake is the largest lake in a five county area and offers fun and recreation year round. All of this is an easy drive from South Bend or Chicago. If you want to get-away with the family, or need a convenient place to stay on a football weekend, you'll love our house.

DIAMOND LAKE- At 1000 acres Diamond Lake is the larges lake in a five county area. The house is only 150 yards or so from the Park Shore Marina where pontoons, ski boats, and jet skies are available for rental. The lake is popular with skiers and fishermen alike. LOCATION- Cassopolis is about 25 minutes drive from the Notre Dame campus (renting this house for the week easily beats paying for two rooms at the Westin in South Bend). There are many great recreation spots within easy driving distance; Amish Country, Warren Dunes State Park, Swiss Valley Ski Resort, and Newton Woods (Do you enjoy fall colors?) to name a few. There is also great antique shopping in the area and too many fruit orchards to name.
