May I share with you the uniqueness of "Genesis," my own private escape. This cabin, completed in 2000, it is a three story, authentic log cabin chalet, with over 2000 square feet, overlooking the river, just to pamper you. Walk in the front door and your attention is immediately drawn to the cathedral ceilings, allowing you to enjoy the warm woodlands outside the two stories of windows. Spacious seating arrangements are here, and all of the Broyhill seats will recline for your comfort! Here is a 48" big screen TV with cable/HBO/VCR, an Englander wood stove, champagne-colored ceramic tile, ceiling fans, and the conversation piece is the hand-hewn staircase cut from locally fallen timbers.
Nestled in the warmth of the beautiful ’Peaceful side’ of the Great Smoky Mountains, a refuge beyond exquisite, surrounded by peace, and the wonders of God. On a private, dead-end road within walking distance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park boundary line!

Wander out into the woodlands and onto the river bluff to the six-person hot tub on a winding, custom-built deck. You're close enough to listen to the river as you marvel at the stars and soak away all your cares.....ahhhhh! You are going to love being nestled in the woodlands right outside the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. In fact, you can hike just a few yards down your private-dead end road and step across the Park boundary! The screened-in porch includes a gas grill and table for outdoor dining, and the laundry room boasts Maytag appliances! Of course we include for your convenience soaps, shampoo, dish and laundry detergents, coffee filters, paper towels and napkings, etc. as you don't want to have to tote these with you : )
The master bedroom has a king bed, and the uniquely designed bathroom features extras such as Mexican tile, mountain stone, exposed copper piping, and a sunflower shower head. Kinda gives you the feeling of bathing outdoors! Upstairs is a full bath, two bedrooms and a sleep loft area with 2 queen, 1 full, 1 twin, and 2 comfortable futons, for total sleeping arrangements for 13. And that doesn't include the futon in the game room. Speaking of game room, it sports a regulation oak, Georgetown slate billiard table for your entertainment! There is another TV with Sega Genesis, games, VCR, Cable, darts, and an exercise bike to stay in shape while on your vacation! Free swimming pool privileges for our guests

Listen to the rushing flow of the Little Tennessee River while you sleep or while you gaze at the beauty of nature off your private balcony overlooking the River bluff. The only backdrop you will see is the mountain-wall of the National Park, blue skies, fluffy clouds and, at times, the unexplainable ’smoke’ boiling over the mountain.

~ 06/03/2003 I rented the 'Genesis' for a weekend because my nephew got married in Maryville. I invited my Brother and his wife and youngest child along with my Aunt from Alaska and my mother and father to stay with me. We had a teriffic time and my entire family was blessed to be with each other and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Billie Pass, the owner, has made this place so outstanding that it will be a wonderful memorial of a time well spent. It's absolutely, without a doubt, the most relaxed I've ever been. I'd love to retire to a place exactly like the 'Genesis'. It's incredible!!!

~ 04/27/2004 On April 9th 2004 myself and 9 friends arrived at "Genesis". Not only was the cabin the most breath taking thing i have ever seen the view knocked me down. I could not belivie a lady with somthing this beatiful would let complete strangers stay in it. My friends and I were so happy with it we plan on going back at least once a year. I promise you that renting her out and seeing what we saw will make you never want to leave. Thanks Billie for everything you have done for my friends and I. You will never know how much it meant to us.

~ 05/09/2004 Our family has stayed at this cabin twice and we will be back again. It is breathtakingly beautiful and Billie is the sweetest lady. It has everything you need and more. The view is wonderful and as soon as you walk in the door, you can feel how magical the Genesis really is. The pictures here do not even give it justice. We loved the hot tub sitting out in the woods above the river and the beautiful and comfortable bedrooms. You would not believe all the little extras Billie provides. I would recommend this cabin over any other cabin anywhere. 13 people can sleep here comfortably. What can I say but we can not wait to go back! Thank you so much Billie. You are a special lady!
