A Getaway for All Seasons
No matter what's the season, or for what reason, SeaScape Villa is a great destination all year round: Oceanfront living at its best in summer; cozy rooms with three open fireplaces in winter.
Come in March and April to watch seals on the nearby islands. Visit in May to witness the spectacle of fierce-looking, "pre-historic" horseshoe crabs visiting the beach. Stay in September, when surprisingly the ocean is at its warmest and kayaking at its best.
Be there in the fall, when the bounty of harvests at the local orchards blend with the softly glowing trees of the foliage season - a great time to visit country fairs and get a feel for the rural life of New England's yesteryear. And why not come in winter? Stay to watch the sun - ever so slowly - rising from the sea, and to experience the power of the ocean - first hand - crashing storm waves on the seawall. And if you'd rather go out, just take a short day trip on the scenic roads and enjoy winter sports at the nearby Powder Ridge and Mt. Southington ski areas.
