A private and spacious European style Garden Suite is creatively decorated with antiques. Everywhere you look, you are delighted with unique and eclectic charm.
Hot tub spa in your private European garden. Two beautiful gardens right out your doorway are totally private.
Your own entryway opens to 850 square feet of romantically appointed rooms:

The bedroom, with empire-swaged queen size bed, looks out upon your private garden and the majestic mountain peaks. Just off the sitting area, the atrium and French doors lead you to a furnished tile patio.
Indulge in fine chocolates and roses with a complimentary bottle of a chilled bubbly beverage while you breathe in the mountain air. Slip into "his and hers" fluffy white robes and take a dip in the hot tub, enjoy the outdoor shower, or snuggle into the warmth of a goose down duvet with a good book.
For an additional fee, you can enjoy a relaxing, in-room massage.
A tray is delivered to your door, at a pre-arranged time, containing everything you'll need for a leisurely breakfast in bed or patio brunch. The finest ingredients, such as organic, shade-grown coffee, whole grain flours, and seasonal fruits, along with the regular fare of cereals, milk, muffins and juice are provided. Freshly made batter for your own homemade waffles (Moon's secret recipe) is provided for you to make in your Garden Suite kitchen. Should you desire to skip the adventure of making your own waffles, Moon will be happy to deliver them "hot off the iron."
Evenings at The Rose Hill at Mt Index are especially magical. Enjoy cool starry nights against the silhouette of Mt. Index with a crackling fire on the patio (marshmallows supplied), or raid your kitchen for a popcorn snack and watch a movie in your private sitting room, via satellite TV. End your day with a leisurely soak in the claw-foot tub. Crisp linens and deep pillows invite you to bed, and the occasional distant drone and haunting call from a passing mountain train will mesmerize you into a deep and restful sleep! Sweet dreams!

$135 per night (double occupancy), plus 10.1% state and local tax. (Includes breakfast)
$15 per night for each additional guest, plus 10.1% state and local tax. Maximum of 4 guests per booking.
While we prefer a 2 night minimum on weekends, 3 nights on holidays, often a schedule change will leave us with an opening. Please don't hesitate to call us should you desire to spend only one night.

Payment is required to confirm your reservation. Payment is made by cash, check, or money order prior to your stay.
Should a cancellation be unavoidable, and your reservation is cancelled 15 days prior to date of reservation, a 75% refund or full credit toward another date is given.
If cancelled 0 to14 days prior to the date of reservation, no refunds or credits, unless we can re-book the dates you have reserved. If we are able to re-book the dates we will give a 75% refund or full credit toward another date.
Weddings: Fees for special occasions and events are quoted on a case by case basis. Please discuss your plans with us, and we will be happy to facilitate your needs.
We regret that we are unable to accept pets at this time (contact us ahead of time for rare exceptions).
Please, no smoking inside The Rose Hill at Mt. Index, but smoking outside is permitted.
Children are welcome with prior arrangement.
Should extra-ordinary cleaning be required, an additional $45 per hour will be charged.
