The Lake House B&B is on the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, six miles north of Watkins Glen on Seneca Lake's west side, situated on a hillside with a lake view and a wooded walk to the lake. Our serene, spacious rooms, romantic charm, and comfortable elegance invite you to kick off your shoes and relax on our porch or next to the fireplace.
B&B guests awaken to the aromas of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods offered early so that you may greet the day at a leisurely pace in the privacy of your room or enjoy the ambience of the front porch, the living room, or a pre-breakfast walk to the lake. We also serve a delicious full breakfast - perhaps French toast, frittata, or omelet - in the dining room or on the front porch.
The Lake House and its lakeside cottage are available for rent as well. The Lake House is open year around. The cottage is seasonal. There is a 385ft beach front with a dock and boat lift. A canoe is available for guests.
There is excellent fishing,hiking, sailing and ofcourse visiting over 50 wineries and the Corning Glass museum. |

Our Five Rooms
are spacious and decorated largely with antiques and family heirlooms. Family photographs are displayed in the upstairs hallway, adding that special touch of home. Three of the rooms have a private bath. Each room has a queen-sized bed and is comfortably appointed. The three large rooms can accommodate three-four persons.The newly renovated seasonal cottage is perched over the lake surrounded by spectacular forest and lake views. It has a very private, secluded beach with a boatlift and dock. Upstairs there are two bedrooms with double beds and twin bunkbeds in a sleeping alcove. There is a double futon couch in the common room and a double bed on the upstairs porch for those who want to sleep "en plein air"! There are 1 ½ baths. The cottage can accomodate 6 comfortably. Due to its location it is not advisable for young children. |
