Located on the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii, A Aloha Guest House is the perfect Bed and Breakfast to spend your vacation to experience the "True" Hawaii. We are on the sunny, western, Kona side, 45 minutes south of the Kona International Airport. On your way, a scenic drive will take you through beautiful lush coffee and macadamia nut growing areas of South Kona. A Aloha Guest House is at the top of a private road, 1,500 ft. above sea level, set amid a citrus and macadamia nut plantation bordering a state forest preserve. Both floors have extensive Lanais (Balconies) with stunning 180 degree views up and down the coast. Directly below us (about 5 minutes away) are the City of Refuge state historic park and Kealakekua Bay - an underwater preserve, with a vast array of tropical fish, and sea turtles you can see while snorkeling or scuba diving, and the often present dolphins.

Kohola, or Whale Room is one of our most popular guest rooms. It offers an amazing ocean view plus a spacious and comfortable King Size Bed, including a private, custom designed bathroom featuring a separate water closet and a unique glass block shower. In case you need another bed, the room is complete with a couch that unfolds into a comfortable queen size bed. In our new Glass Block Shower with its multiple jets you can wash away the sea salt and beach sand and get ready for an amazing sunset. This guest room is only steps away to our outdoor 7 person Jacuzzi which is a great place to sooth your aching muscles after a long flight, drive or hike. The rate is $190 per night for two guests. The Kohola Room will accommodate up to four guest for an additional $25 per person, breakfast included. Definitely a great price for the luxury and quality of this room!
Halawai or Horizon Room, offers a spectacular ocean view. We placed our Queen size canopy bed right onto the window, so you can enjoy natures beauty like you are floating in the clouds. It features a private Bathroom with a separate water closet. In our new Glass Block Shower you can cleanse away the sea salt and beach sand as well as the stress and burdens of your life. Adjacent is our spacious Lanai with comfortable couches and rocking chairs as well as Dining table, if you should decide to stay in and prepare a meal in our shared kitchen. The rate is $170 per night, breakfast included and has a maximum of two guests. A great value and way worth its price!
Nai'a or Dolphin Room is located to the side and in the center of the house which allows for partial ocean and garden views. It features a comfortable queen size bed and a private bathroom with a sunken bathtub and shower. From the sliding glass door you can enjoy the spacious lanai with comfortable couches and rocking chairs as well as a dining table, if you should decide to stay in and prepare a meal in our shared kitchen available for our downstairs guest rooms. The rate is $110 per night, including breakfast, for a maximum of two Guests. This is our most affordable room and a great value for the budget traveler!
Honu or Sea Turtle Room is located at the end of the building , which allows for partial ocean and garden views and has a comfortable queen size bed. The Honu rooms special characteristic is the wheel chair accessibility of this separate guest studio adjacent to Aloha Guest house. It is featuring a private entrance and a complete kitchenette and dining table. In case you need an additional bed, this room is furnished with a couch that can be unfolded into a queen size sleeper. From the sliding glass door you can enjoy the spacious lanai with comfortable couches and rocking chairs as well as the dining table. The rate for this room is $150 per night for two guests, and will accommodate up to four. $25 additional per person per night. This room rate gives you the opportunity to stay at a great house with all its amenities for a fantastic price. If you're staying for a longer period of time and like your own kitchen, or are more than two and are on a budget, or if you need a wheel chair accessible accommodation and would like to experience a vacation at a Bed and Breakfast, The Honu Room is for you...
Ali'i or Royal Suite is our most exclusive guest room. It invites you tostay and relax in its spacious rooms and extended Lanai Area. Here you canfind peaceful rest in a brand new King size bed with a view over to Kealakekua Bay. For a special outside sleeping experience you can also try out the Antique European King size bed on the completely covered lanai(Balcony) with it's fantastic Ocean and Garden views and experience the fresh Hawaiian air of Mauna Loa's cool night breezes. Our Suite also Includes an additional room with a Full size bed. A perfect room if you travel with a child or parent. You can stay close together but yet you have your privacy.
Cable TV, a VCR and DVD collection will bring you ample entertainment in the evening. The bathroom is truly made for royalty. With its' raised Jacuzzi tub overlooking the banana trees, a large tiled shower area with a big panoramic window suited to accommodate ten people and the double shower heads. The custom tile work and the double vanity speak for themselves. The Ali'i Suite is $250 per night for two guests, but accommodates up to five for an additional $25 per person, breakfast Included. This Ali'i Suite will pamper you and give you a Hawaiian vacation in Luxury, Serenity and Tranquility.
The Ali'i Suite is now equipped with one King size bed inside, one King size bed outside on the covered Lanai and one Full size bed in the separate room (5 guest maximum).
Ginger Cottage is what we are calling our most special guest accommodation.
This could be your own private hideaway. It is a single separate building off from the main house with a high cealing. It opens up to a colorful blooming ginger garden view through sun flooded, floor to cealing glass panels. Its romantic and comfortable King Size bamboo canapé Bed will charm you. The room also offers a full sized, completely equipped kitchen with a convenient gas stove. Comfort and luxury are also found in the large screen premium cable TV, DVD, VCR, Stereo and in room phone. You’ll get a bathroom with tub as well as an exiting outdoor shower, so you can enjoy Hawaiian tree ferns, flowering gingers, bromeliads and orchids close up. In case you need another bed, the room is complete with a couch that unfolds into a comfortable queen size bed and your own private parking is right next to your entrance. When you decide for the Ginger Cottage, you are also welcome to use our nearby, well sized, outdoor Jacuzzi as well as all amenities and common facility’s of the "Aloha Guest House", including our great Lanai‘s with they‘re spectacular ocean views or the VCR or DVD collection. The rate is set at $170 per night for up to two guests, but will accommodate up to four for an additional $10 per person. An ideal choice if you like your own place away from everybody, but still want convenience and comfort.
This place is meant to be rented as a Vacation rental with a five night minimum. For special arrangements, please inquire within.
A $60 cleaning fee will be added to any rental term.

All guest rooms have an ocean view, large lanai, private entrance, private bathrooms and a shared kitchenette. Our Guest rooms come either with queen or king sized beds, a refrigerator and coffee maker. Our common area on the upper level offers cable TV DVD VHS CD Players and a computer with high speed internet as well as a wireless access point for your convenience.
You can enjoy a great breakfast of homegrown fruits and juices, Kona coffee, homemade pancakes and omelets, breads and pastries. A cozy breakfast on your lanai in front of your room, or on the main lanai, where you can meet other guests. You'll have a great time either way!
