Property Description
Distinctive home wrapped in a beautiful wooded setting inside the gates of Twin Rivers. This custom home boasts a great open feeling from the moment you enter, and carries throughout the well-appointed and furnished family home. This home graciously delivers two main floor Master Suites. You will also find a large dining room table, perfect for entertaining your family and friends. The large kitchen includes a massive island that comfortably seats five, and a new Nespresso machine. The lower level includes a lovely family room area with a gas fireplace, two nice size bedrooms and a full bath. As if that weren't enough, this level is complete with a great billiard table. Outdoors is a new fire pit. When coming to the mountains, you will be glad you chose Honey Bear Haven, as your home away from home. This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home. While the outdoor fire pit is a perfect spot to enjoy, the outdoor fireplace located on the deck is currently not available for guest use.
Also, the power outlet is a standard NEMA 14-50 receptacle, guests with electric vehicles or plug-in hybrids are welcome to make use of it and 'fill-up' for free.
Please note that fishing in the rivers is reserved exclusively for the homeowners.
Firewood for the outdoor firepit may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.

We loved the house. It is beautiful and in a great location. The big deck is great for socializing and taking in the view. The beds were good and the bathrooms a nice size. We enjoyed the cute cottage- style decorating. We did have a few minor issues: You need to do something about the large black ants. They were everywhere—including in our food! The gas fireplace didn’t work. We couldn’t use the water dispenser on the fridge because it leaked water all over when we did. The garbage pail rack needs repair—we had a very hard time getting it in and out. All of these are easy fixes, but we thought we should let you know about them. We never used the firewood since the only place we could find to burn it was the outside fireplace, which wasn’t convenient—so consider the extra wood we ordered a gift to the next person. We certainly loved the house and would stay there again!

This cabin is large enough for 7 extended family members to get together for a long weekend and have a little fun. Never felt like we were on top of each other. Has a pool table which we enjoyed and an instant on fire place inside. There is an outside wood fireplace but we did not use it. The porch was expansive and we could have sat out there all day. Quiet but close to everything. Visit the Tomato Shack and the Ham Shoppe if you visit nothing else. Antique shops are great as well. This cabin was very comfortable to come home to. Would definitely stay again! P.S. Blue Ridge was nothing but accommodating from the moment we booked. Great to deal with and super fast on responses. Never had a worry while we were there.
GREAT PLACE FOR A LARGE GROUP

This was a beautiful home and a great place for a large group to gather. Plenty of room for me and my husband, our three kids and their spouses, and three grandkids. Yet it was also spacious enough that individuals could find a place for a little quiet time. The large wrap around deck was a delightful place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. And our 18 month old and 2 year old grandkids loved having a place to run back and forth! The house is also very close to town and to some great hiking trails!

The cabin was just as described and pictured! It is nestled in the woods, very secluded and private. However, it is easily accessible from the main roads. The house had everything you could possibly need for a great stay (never found an ironing board though). The kitchen is well appointed, plenty of towels and paper products provided, the decor is perfect, the tv's worked great, the pool table was a big hit and beds were comfortable! We would definitely recommend!!!
