Come and enjoy this magnificent NEWLY RENOVATED & IMPROVED Blowing Rock log home! Also on this level are a full bathroom, a bedroom with queen-sized bed, a spacious master suite with King-sized bed, SmartTV and a private bathroom with double jacuzzi tub and separate shower, and a huge wrap-around deck with a new gas grill and views of the surrounding forest. With 1,000 square feet of outdoor decks, you can relax and enjoy the quiet atmosphere outside and the views of the creek and forest. Enjoy the brand new firepit on the grounds below the cabin as well!
The main level boasts a spacious living room with 20-foot high, exposed beam, cathedral ceilings, large picture windows, a gas log stone fireplace, and a huge 60" SMART TV with DVD player, a dining room that seats 8, a fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops with additional seating for 4.
Upstairs is a spacious loft overlooking the living room with a queen-sized sleeper sofa, pool table, and SmartTV, a large bedroom with a King bed, another large bedroom with a King-sized bed, and a full bathroom.
Downstairs is a second living area with stone gas log fireplace, a full wet bar with fridge and dishwasher and coffeemaker, seating area, and a second deck overlooking the forest with a beautiful Jacuzzi-brand hot tub, a bedroom with a King bed, and a full bathroom.
Located near the Appalachian Ski Lodge in Blowing Rock, you can walk to the Lodge and it's convenient to all other High Country attractions. Enjoy the fantastic views of the Appalachian Ski Mountain fireworks show on New Years Eve and July Fourth!

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- The driveway can hold three cars. The home is accessed by a gravel road and the driveway is also gravel. 4WD is recommended during winter months.
- This property is not pet friendly under any circumstances. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
- Owner monitors the exterior of the home with security cameras, but no interior or hot tubs are monitored.
- No large parties or gatherings are permitted.

We stayed at Freedom Lodge in late December and we truly enjoyed it. The house is beautiful. It's got three floors, the top floor has two bedrooms and one bathroom as well as a living area with a sofa bed and pool table. The main floor has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the kitchen, dining room and a fireplace in the living room. On the bottom level there's another bedroom with bathroom, living area and a fireplace. There's a fire pit outside that's great for making s'mores. It's close to many outdoor activities, including Appalachian Ski Mountain, so if you want to ski, you're only a short walk away. We were worried about maybe having spotty WiFi because of the location in the mountains, but we had no such issues. All their TV's are equipped with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc... We would definitely come here again.

It's a beautiful, peaceful mountain house with comfort and style. It's perfectly tucked back in the woods so you get the full mountain feeling while being close to both Blowing Rock and Boone. We enjoyed every minute we were there, and you can expect a relaxing and calming vibe from this place!

We were scheduled to stay in the Cabin for 3 nights and ended up taking advantage of a discounted rate for an extra night. The Cabin was ready for us at expected time, very clean, and ease of arrival was great as codes were emailed so we could go straight to our destination. This property exceeded all of our expectations. We did have a hiccup with an appliance (fireplace) but we understand some 'break downs' are unexpected and it certainly was not something that could have been foreseen to our knowledge. We will definitely be returning to the area at this same unit or something similar when vacation allows!!! 5 Stars all the way!!

The little neighborhood in which this house is located is just right for walking our dogs. The house was large, clean, and when the hot tub blew a breaker, the response from the rental team was prompt. We enjoyed the pool table and took advantage of the rustic back yard for a campfire in the evening. I do have one suggestion, the back yard is very steep. Making the effort to level it would make seating around a camp fire more comfortable. Thank you.

Great stay as always!!!! Blue Ridge Mtn. Rentals treated us awesome as always. We use Blue Ridge Mtn. Rentals every year and have been for the past 4 or 5 years. The staff is great to communicate with by email and/or phone. Always very helpful and understanding. They seem to have a house for all our needs whether we go with a small group or large group.

Great Mountain Getaway! We used Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals for the first time with the recommendation from a friend. The process was very easy and anyone I spoke to was friendly and helpful. We picked up and dropped off our keys after hours and the directions where simple and everything was printed for you in advance. We plan on making this a tradition and will be using Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals again next year.
