Hidden Hideaway, located in a wooded, secluded mountain community, is just 12 miles east of the Blue Ridge Parkway, and about 12 miles north of downtown Blowing Rock. This quiet mountain cabin offers year-round views of the mountains in a peaceful environment where you can slow down and gather with family and friends. Hidden Hideaway has three (3) bedrooms, three and a quarter (3.5) bathrooms, five (5) sleeping areas that can accommodate up to thirteen (13) people. The house has a wraparound covered deck, a hot tub and a gas grill. The lower-level game room will be a big hit with both kids and adults.
Step into the living room of a mountain cabin with a gas log fireplace and a large TV. There is also plenty of comfortable seating. The open, comfortable main-level living area is a great place for guests to relax and gather. Warm wood floors and tongue-and groove ceilings throughout create a modern mountain feel. The living room windows let in plenty of light. Glass doors lead to the covered porch where you can find a variety of seating arrangements, as well as a hot tub and corn hole. Enjoy the fresh mountain air while grilling on the gas-powered grill or taking in the sunrise. The kitchen is located adjacent to the living area and has a large dining table with seating for six. It also features updated appliances and plenty of storage space. On the main floor, there is a spacious laundry room and a half-bath.
The main floor has a comfortable king-size master suite with a TV and private bathroom. Through the bathroom, there is a small sleeping nook that has a twin-size bed and a window. The bathroom is equipped with a sink and vanity area. It also has a step-in shower. The open loft is located up the beautiful wooden staircase from the living area. It has two double beds with A-frame windows and a private bath with shelving and step-in shower. The lower level of this home has a king-size bedroom with TV and a queen-size bedroom with TV. Both bedrooms are decorated with comforting beds, pillows and blankets.
The playroom on the lower level will delight your children with its mini-climbing walls, which can be climbed to reach a rope ladder, and knotted ropes on the other side. There is also an air hockey table and a twin bunk with a ladder, and a slide. This well-designed play area is sure to delight the kids. This fantastic fun room also has a propane fireplace and a couch. The lower-level covered deck has a swing for kids. The lower level features a unique bathroom that has high windows to let in natural light. It also has a curved counter and a step-in shower combo.
Hidden Hideaway provides central air conditioning, a washing machine and dryer, Wi Fi and a DVD Player, as well as 4 TVs with cable and satellite programming, to ensure that your stay is comfortable. Satellite internet does not allow video calls or streaming. Enjoy a fire on the deck with the raised wood-burning fireplace in front of the covered entrance. This cabin can accommodate up to two (2) pets. The gravel driveway can accommodate up to four cars.
The drive is 3 miles on a curvy gravel mountain road maintained by the state.
*Please bring chains and 4WD in the winter! It is better to have 4WD all year round.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You can cancel your booking within 24 hours and receive a refund in full. If you cancel your booking more than 30 days prior to arrival, you'll receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will not be refunded. If you have purchased travel insurance, and the reason of the cancellation is covered by the policy, you can recover the full amount.
