Guests love the Wonderlust Cabin: "Absolutely incredible cabin! First time in South Dakota and so happy I booked this awesome place. The owners were available at all times if needed, but everything was perfect so we never needed to call on them. Would definitely recommend! Thanks again!" Featuring a main floor bedroom and upstairs bunk room, it has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, private hot tub, wood fireplace and a great location for visiting the Black Hills! The front patio room is a great place to leave your winter or summer gear. Walk into the main floor welcoming, open layout with full kitchen and dining area (seats 5 at table and 4 at the counter). Fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, dishwasher, microwave and coffee pot. The living room features a rock, wood fireplace, flat screen TV with satellite, walk-out to the patio and private hot tub. Main floor bathroom has a shower/tub combo. Upstairs you'll find a great space with an open loft room to the living room. This room has a twin set of bunks, full bunk with twin on top, flat screen TV with satellite and half bath. This cabin is located right on the Terry Peak Ski Area - about 1/2 mile from the main lodge. 6 miles west of Deadwood, 20 miles from Sturgis and an hour drive to Mt. Rushmore. Close to snowmobile trails, Mickelson Trail, ATV trails and 3 miles from Lead. A vacation should be relaxing, fun and memorable and we will help make that happen for you! Loved this little cabin for our family of 4. We would go out sight seeing during the day but it was always nice to be able to come back “home” and relax, make dinner, and enjoy the hot tub.
The cabin was very clean & in a beautiful area. It was just the right size for our family of 5! I was a little nervous once we got there and saw how wide the gap was along the loft railing, as we have a toddler. I was worried he would try to find us in the middle of the night and end up falling through the railing. We found things to put in front and block the railing, and it worked. But it’s something to think about if you have really little kids. Hot tub was awesome! We appreciated how the host contacted us ahead of time with lots of helpful, detailed information, including a list of items that were or were not available at the cabin. This helped me pack accordingly. The directions they gave were perfect for finding the place. Check-in and check-out were easy. The host was in communication with us the whole trip. This is a great place to stay if you will be mainly in the northern part of the Black Hills! It did feel like a lot of driving on the days we traveled south, though.
Easy check-in process. Cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Cozy and easy to cool off when the temps dropped. Loved the hot tub features. The loft was perfect for the kids with bunks! Overall, we had a great time and would stay here again.

I needed a package delivered, I called the phone number listed - within two rings someone answered, within three minutes I had my questions answered and the person was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable.
Great location, cozy, clean, enjoyable. Beautiful view out the back door. Our kids loved the loft bunk beds. We all loved the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful cabin , a little disappointed it was surrounded by multiple cabins, so if you're looking for an isolated cabin this isn't it. Over all good, enjoyable experience.

The Wonderlust cabin was perfect for our extended family! We had 4 adults and 2 kids and had a wonderful time. The loft worked great for my husband, myself, and our 2 kiddos. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make our evening meals. The hot tub was a perfect way to end our days. We appreciated the washer/dryer too!
