The Rushville Cottage of La Jolla is a charming Nantucket style cottage, only three and a half blocks to the beach, and a three minute drive to the well known La Jolla Cove. This home has all new furnishings, stainless steel kitchen appliances and has only recently become available as a vacation/corporate relocation rental.
The Rushville Cottage is a warm and comfortable 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with a living room, dining room and extra family room area. The living room is fully equipped with beautiful couches and furniture, mock fireplace, a 36 inch cable television with DVD player and direct access to the back yard. In addition, there is a stereo with CD player, and a telephone with answering machine for local calls.
The full kitchen has lots of counter space and is complete with brand new stainless steel double oven, dishwasher and microwave. In addition there is a gas range top and full size refrigerator. This home comes complete with all dishes, glassware, utensils, coffee pot, toaster, blender, as well as all kitchen utensils and small appliances necessary to prepare any meal.
Just off the kitchen area is the family room complete with a sleeper-sofa couch and chairs for relaxing and socializing plus lots of fun games and toys for kids to enjoy.
The master bedroom is very private, just off the entry way at the front of the house. This room has a queen size bed, cable television, open closet space and attached private bathroom. The second bedroom is at the back of the house and also has a queen size bed as well as a large closet space and direct access to the second bathroom. The third bedroom has two twin beds, mirrored closets and a door that leads into the back yard. There is also additional sleeping space in the fold out sleeper-sofa couch located in the family room just off the kitchen area. All linens (sheets, pillows, blankets, bath towels, beach towels) are provided.
The Rushville Cottage has a very private and quiet, fully enclosed back yard full of native plants and a fruit bearing tree. This space is an ideal space for kids to play or for barbecues and outdoor dining. There is an outdoor table and chairs and gas BBQ for you to use while enjoying the warm summer evenings.
A full size washer and dryer are located in the home for your convenience.
For an additional $15 charge, you can order food and dairy products to be delivered to the home prior to your arrival. Orders must be placed a minimum of 3 days prior to your arrival date. Your order plus the delivery fee will be charged to your credit card. To cancel or change your order, please contact us before 5pm PST the day prior to your arrival. $1,600/week or $230/night during the Winter Season
$1,800/week or $300/night during Holidays
$2,000/week during the Summer season - weekly basis from Saturday - Saturday only
**These rates do not include a 10.5% tax, cleaning fee and refundable security deposit
Policies
RESERVATIONS: To reserve your dates, a deposit of 50% of the total rent is required. This deposit may be secured by providing a check, money order, Visa or MasterCard. Please note that dates cannot be guaranteed until your deposit is received. The remaining rent, plus tax and security deposit will be due 15 days prior to your arrival date.
CANCELLATIONS: Should you wish to cancel your reservation, notice of cancellation must be in writing or via e-mail and received more than 60 days prior to your check-in date. If cancellation notice is received more than 60 days in advance of arrival date, we will refund all of the reservation deposit (minus a 10% credit card handling fee is a credit card was used to secure payment). If cancellation notice is received less than 60 days in advance of arrival date and the property is re-rented at the same rate to another party, we will refund all of the reservation deposit except a $300 cancellation fee. If the property is not re-rented, we will retain the entire reservation deposit. Please note that La Jolla is a very popular vacation spot, and beach rentals remain in demand. Guests who must cancel are assured that we will make every possible effort to re-rent the property through a variety of advertising and networking.
PETS: Pets of any kind are NOT Allowed. No animals of any kind are allowed in house or on surrounding property; this includes “visiting” or “stray” animals. If this rule is broken, Lessee’s security deposit will be used to resolve the odor and/or flea problems and for any costs incurred to relocate guests checking in after Lessee’s departure.
SMOKING: Smoking of any kind is not permitted inside the home.
