St. Georges- 4 or 5 bedroom house, with swimming pool, on an island with boats for commuting! House can accommodate up to 14 guests in comfort. Extensive services including chauffeur, boat pilot, cooking, wedding planner etc provided. See details at bottom of page. The house is a 10-15 minute commute over to Tuckers Point and Mid-Ocean Club.
Run-about boat holds 6- 8 persons. Larger Shamrock boat(captained) can hold more.
On an island surrounded by the green and turquoise waters for which Bermuda is justly famous, is our large modern home-built in 2003. Beautifully decorated and with every convenience, the house lends itself to entertaining your family and friends for a reunion, a wedding or a celebration of any kind….
With its covered porch in the traditional style, and pretty garden areas surrounding the pool, the principal rooms are large and gracious. The dining room will sit 12 in comfort, and the living room is elegantly furnished with buttery soft leather sofas. The kitchen offers every convenience. The views over the water are magical in every season, and the snorkeling and swimming will keep you absorbed and fascinated for hours. For those preferring a little leisurely relaxation in the sun, the pool side deck amenities await you. The sandy beach can be walked to through the woods in 5 minutes, or accessed by the little skiff that is included in the house rental. All you have to do is pay for the gas.
The house features cable television and Internet. Long distance telephone calls will be deducted from the damage-security deposit.
The master bedroom has a King bed, a fireplace, and a luxurious en suite bathroom including shower and Jacuzzi bath. Two additional bedrooms, each with en suite baths with showers, have King beds. The fourth bedroom has 2 queen beds, French doors leading to the swimming pool and the use of the spectacular spa bathroom which offers an oversized Jacuzzi tub, shower and steam room, overlooking the pool. There is a studio apartment attached to the house, with its own private bath also available for up to 2 additional guests, with a Queen bed and shower facility.A golf cart available to assist disabled guests to and from the house: please note: guests have to be able to step up and down from the boat dock: no more than 2 steps at high tide: 5 at low tide. The little sandy beach is accessible along a path from the house a 3-5 minute walk away. There are several steps to reach the beach level. Groceries can be delivered to the house for you at no charge if you purchase them on your credit card for delivery to the island. Our homeowner will supervise them getting into the house and put away. Liquor and flowers can also be pre-arranged. We also provide a cook at an additional charge if one is required. Piloted Boat service available 24 hours a day, with one complimentary round trip to St. George’s included daily.The former capital of Bermuda, the Town of St. Georges is just a 5 minute boat ride away, but will take you back nearly 400 years to 1612. The town is the oldest continuously occupied settlement in the English New World. The extraordinary atmosphere of the town is captured not in its gentrification but in the fact the folks live in these ancient buildings and that the ongoing matter of everyday business has somehow been managed within the confines of a pretty town with winding roads and oddly shaped buildings perched curbside. Its history embraces many roles: a thriving frontier town, military and naval outpost and colonial capital to name but a few. Crammed now with pretty shops and attractive cafes, it is centered on a beautiful waterfront square, with museums and galleries just steps away, including a replica of the Deliverance. This tiny ship bore the early settlers on to Jamestown, Virginia after a year of collecting food and ship building to escape the island they were shipwrecked upon. There is a fine golf course behind the town, gardens and churches to explore and dazzling beaches in the area. Buses run into Hamilton and beyond, and there is a ferry service into Hamilton as well: please check the schedules on the homepage of www.bermudarentals.com for times of departure and return. As the island is only 22 miles long, even at the sedate pace of 14 to 20 miles an hour, you can explore the entire island comfortably from your taxi, on the mopeds or by public transportation. The Mid-Ocean Golf Course is about 15 minutes away by taxi or by motor launch/cabin cruiser.
RATE INCLUDES $200.00 per week of electricity and water, plus local telephone calls, gardening, pool maintenance, once a day round trip boat service and twice a week maid service (except on weekends and public holidays). It is customary to leave a gratuity for the maid.
The included skiff holds 6-8 persons and has a 40HP Evinrude motor. It can be tied up at the main square in St. Georges where your mopeds can be left as well. Range depends on how much you use it, but runs into St. Georges and around the island should net you 2-3 days of activity per tank-full of gas.
The skippered cabin cruiser is a 27 foot Shamrock which can ferry 8-10 people max to and from the island. One complimentary round trip is included per day: Additional trips such as bringing your guests over to the island for dinner and seeing them back would be at the water-taxi rate of 45.00 an hour.
Our homeowner is pleased to offer: $45.00 an hour for private automobile chauffeur. $90.00 for chartered boat excursions. The small skiff with a 40HP Evinrude engine is made available for guests to use independently- no charge but guests pay for gas to power the boat. Babysitter can be arranged. Cook//maid can be arranged.Wedding arrangements, water sports, spa days, private parties with catering etc. can be arranged for you. Tell us how we may be of service!

$1500.00 per day for 8 guests plus $200.00 for 2 persons in the 1 bedroom apartment adjoining the house. We can also put up 4 children on Ikea style cots @25.00 per child, beyond the 10 person number.
$1100.00 a day in the off Season: Off-season Nov 1-April 1 for 8 guests plus extra charge for the apartment and children's beds, if required . Off season rate does not include Xmas-New Years week
