The facilities offered are a guest bedroom with a bathroom en-suite. The suite has its own entrance and patio with views of Pompano Flats as well as a private garden area with table & lounge chairs. This unit can be rented in conjunction with W25, which would provide accommodations for up to 6 persons on the same property. The suite is fully furnished with a double bed, night stand with lamp, dresser, storage closet, breakfast table and chairs. Cable TV, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, Iron & ironing board, bed linen & towels, broom & dustpan. The homeowners are anxious that you enjoy yourselves and would like you to let them know if there is anything further they can do for you to make sure you are comfortable in this quiet family neighborhood.
The bus services for South Shore via Middle Road is within easy walking distance. Along the south shore coastline there are numerous parks and beaches to explore: down the hillside and along a winding path is the entrancing Church Bay. With wonderful rock formations offshore for spectacular snorkeling and powder soft sands for children to play in, this beach needs only a picnic and a good book to make it perfect. The much written about Horseshoe Bay and East Whale Bay, Warwick Long bay and the dazzling Jobson’s Cove and Stonehole Bay all await you. There are fine restaurants too, starting with the Pompano Club, a fine hotel with dining facilities just down the lane from the house you are staying in. Others to consider arethe Southampton Princess Hotel, the Reefs and at the Waterlot Inn. More casual dining can be had at the Henry VIII, Whaler Inn and other roadside establishments. The Southampton Princess Golf Course is five minutes away, as is the Port Royal Golf Course. The Riddell’s Bay Golf Course is 10 minutes away.
The town of Hamilton is about 20 minutes away by land; one does have the attractive option of going over to the Somerset Bridge Ferry stop or Belmont Wharf on Harbour Road for a jaunt across the harbour. There is also the sleepy but charming little hamlet of Somerset Village to explore, a mere 10 minutes away. Reserve a day for the wonderful Maritime Museum out at Dockyard on Ireland Island. There you will find meticulously restored historical buildings, craft shops and art galleries, pubs, cafes, shops and fascinating displays of items from Bermuda’s extraordinarily colourful past.
Additional attractions: the Railway Trail is a 3 minute walk away.
Closest beach in walking distance, Whale Bay. Port Royal Golf course and ferry are within walking distance approximately 25 minutes and Hamilton is 15 minutes away by fast ferry.
