Luquillo is the Sun Capital of the World! The beach villa is only 5 minutes away from the world-famous Luquillo Beach, and our own Playa Azul beach area, La Pared Beach for surfing. El Yunque Rainforest the only one in the whole USA, and Las Cabezas de San Juan Natural Reserve and Lighthouse, which is home to one of the world's last remaining bioluminescent bay. It is a 15-minute drive to the ferry and airports that provide transportation to the offshore islands of Culebra and Vieques. Dorado, Vega Baja and Palmas del Mar they do not have a beach area for swimming, and Isla Verde Beach is very crowded on weekends and traffic is very congested in this area. Word to the wise the Caribbean is Paradise on Earth. Puerto Rico being the Shining Star of the Caribbean is a territory of the United States. Beautiful beach villa located at Urb. Solimar Luquillo, Puerto Rico. Solimar is an exclusive and private community with 24-hour security; just steps away from the Luquillo Beach.

The villa can comfortably accommodate 8 adults: queen-size bed in the master bedroom,
queen-size bed and one twin/single bed in the second bedroom have, one sleep sofa/futon
and 1.5-bath.
Property Activities
Luquillo's' greatest assets are its' varied, beautiful beaches and its' easy access to San
Juan and the rain forest. Balneario Luquillo is a calm crescent shaped beach lined with
coconut trees. Playa Azul beach has a small surf, La Pared beach offers good surfing
waves. and La Selva surfer’s beach is just east of Luquillo. El Yunque rainforest peaks:
Hike to La Roca, Los Picachos and El Yunque peak. Hacienda Carabalí mount an elegant
Paso Fino horse and ride. September Festival del Coco; December Festival de Platos
Típicos; March Luquillo celebrates a San José Patron Saint Festival. Festivities include
dances, foods, parades and religious processions.
Solimar's is Paradise Sun Capital of the World: The Balneario de Luquillo is a mile-long
stretch of sculpted sand set against a backdrop of massive palm trees. El Yunque
Rainforest is five minutes away on Route #191. Nearby are Lolita's Mexican Restaurant,
Sandy's Puerto Rican Food Restaurant, and King's Seafood Restaurant are five minutes
away in Luquillo.
The Plaza Carolina Shopping Center is 30 minutes away in Carolina. Plaza Las Americas
Shopping Center, the largest shopping center in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean (with
Macy's, JC Penney, Sears, Borders Book and Music, Coach, Gap, Banana Republic, Old
Navy, and many more stores), is just 40 minutes away in San Juan, and local artisans with
beautiful handcrafted work at Plaza Las Americas and Old San Juan City. El Conquistador
Resort Hotel is 15 minutes away in Fajardo. The Belz Factory Outlet Mall is 15 minutes
away in Canóvanas. Walk to the famous Balneario de Luquillo and enjoy the best beach of
Puerto Rico. A great place for just couples or the whole family. My price can't be beat here
in Puerto Rico. Near have three beaches in this area surfing, swimming and relaxing and
sun bathing so come on down a great vacation is waiting for you 'Viva U.S.A' and The
World. We are five minutes away from El Yunque Rainforest the only tropical forest in the
whole U.S.A. and four golf courses.
Snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, hiking in the 'El Yunque' rainforest, sightseeing, biking,
golfing, horseback riding, and shopping. El Rancho (for horseback riding) is five minutes
away in Luquillo. At Eastern Side: Luquillo (the best-known beach on the Island, Balneario
de Luquillo), Fajardo (day sailing to the cays of Icacos, Palominos and Palominitos), a ferry
to Vieques and Culebra islands (exquisite beaches).
Golf: Mr. Donald Trump is investing million dollars houses only seven miles away.

After a layover in my hometown, I went to retrieve my key for the rental and was pleasantly surprise with the condition and facilities of access. My husband loved the outdoor grill and patio and the central air on all the house. Mr. Aurelio had an efficient person to welcome you. You only need your luggage and your food(you can shop nearby) and you are all set. I will definetly recommend this villa "Solimar" to anyone whos looking for a home away from home. All the turistic places near and far and the most important thing was that the place was excedingly safe and very clean. If you need to rent for the summer or winter; this is the place to go. This is a very beautiful house that sit within a quiet community. There is a on site pool and tennis court. You are walking to Walgreen's, the bank and local food. I stood here in April 2009 with my 17 month old son, husband and mother. Let just say we were all comfortable. The price was well within our budget.

my family went to luquillo in March 2009. We have four children: 6yrs, 5, 18 months and 4 months. The beach next to the balneario was perfect for them. The development also has private access to another part of the beach where the water is not as calm. The house was well maintained and clean. My kids cant wait to get back and we would certainly stay there again.

Three of my friends plus me stayed here for spring break this year (2009). The complex had all of the amenities we could ask for. There are tennis courts, basketball courts and a swimming pool.
The two bedrooms accomodated the four of us just fine, and the kitchen was very useful in preparing meals. Aurelio keeps the place very clean!
Also, the location is close to plenty of attractions. We drove to the rainforest and it only took about 10 minutes. The surf at La Pared was consistent during our trip, and we were able to walk to Luquillo beach where we caught a few fish.
This villa was the best deal I found before arriving in Luquillo and after spending 5 days there, I think it is still the best deal. |
