The 120 square metres stonehouse, standing in the middle of an old olive yard has been recently completely restored to a very high standard maintaining the unique Tuscan style and offering every modern facilities. It has wooden ceilings, terracotta floors and thick stone walls in the old part of the house.It is tastefully furnished. The three bedrooms have breathtaking views over the medieval hamlet of S.Andrea and over the oliveyard.The terrace is ideal for relaxing and and you can enjoy to take a bath in the pool that will be ready for May 2008 On the ground floor we have a large fully-equipped kitchen/dining room, living room with fire place and satellite TV and further living room with 1 sofa and 1 sofa bed that sleeps 2 people. 1°floor:, 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedded room with stunning view over the medieval hamlet,1 bunk bedroom with view over the oliveyard.3 bathrooms with shower.

Property Activities
A great base for travelling around Tuscany or a beautiful setting to just escape and relax. Only six miles from the historic walled city of Lucca, less than 30 minutes driving to Pisa and less than 1 hour to Florence.Within an hour of sunbathing on Versilia’s beaches. The medieval hamlet of S.Andrea di Compito is walking distance (less than 1 mile). This nice little village is very well-known for the Camellias festival in spring and for its special olive oil.The stonehouse is in the middle of an old oliveyard and is therefore a very quite and relaxing retreat.

We had a wonderful couple of weeks in this dream house build in heavenly surroundings.
Anna has done a great job modernising this ancient farmhouse with thought and taste – the kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfy, the air conditioning was greatly appreciated, the pool was a treat....all good! The house is built into the hillside of an old olive grove with spectacular views of the surrounding area. The house was the best part of our vacation. We had a teenager and a pre-teen kid with us and they loved it- the pool, the wildlife, Lucca (especially the Saturday market and cycling), the shopping, the food, the lifestyle.
The key items that made this part of our vacation remarkably good are:
• Beautiful house steeped in history and impeccably renovated
• Wonderful location in the hills (great views, peace and tranquility away from the world, a refreshing breeze, breathtaking drive to the house (along a hillside hugging shingle trail – not for the faint hearted!)
• The house is located far enough from the village of San Andrea for the church bells not to wake us every half hour. We slept peacefully every night!
• Easy driving distance to all that Tuscany has to offer

My family and I stayed in this gorgeous villa for a week and loved it. It's peaceful and secluded without being too far from nice places to visit such as Lucca and Pisa. It was great to cool off by the pool and gaze at the amazing view across hills and mountains.
