SkyWalk Lodge is a Gulf-front architect-designed beach home. As the last house to the west before Ft. Morgan State Park, SkyWalk borders a federal wildlife refuge and offers incredible views, sunsets and privacy.
With 4,000+ square feet under roof and 3,000+ square feet of decks, large groups are easily accommodated. Think family gatherings. With intimate seating throughout, it is also a perfect couples retreat. SkyWalk is professionally decorated, showcasing comfortable "kick-back" seating along with interesting antiques, unique finishing details, original artwork throughout and has an alarm and video surveillance system installed.
The first level features two Gulf-front master suites with king size beds. Each master bedroom also has two twin sleeper chairs, The East master bedroom is also equipped with satellite tv and a recently installed shower spa. The West master bedroom has a long soaking tub. Two (2) other bedrooms on that same floor each have custom showers. One of those bedrooms has a queen size bed, a queen sofa sleeper and TV. The other has two (2) full beds. Those two rooms have a total of 3 sleeping mattresses ready for "PJ-party" style when needed. The 1st level also has a large sitting area in the eight (8) foot center hall and laundry room.
The second or main level features a huge, open living area with vaulted ceiling, widescreen high definition TV. With a recently remodeled kitchen, cooks in your group will appreciate a fully equipped and well stocked kitchen with stainless cooktop, built ins and a wide open prep space.
There is a large dining area with abundant seating and breakfast nook along with a fireplace.
The main level also has an exquisite powder room. For those bringing a little work with you, SkyWalk has an office area and wireless access.
The third level/Crow's Nest has two (2) twin beds, a half bath and a widow's walk deck access.
There is not another home like this on the beach!
SkyWalk is very well maintained. Linens and bath towels are furnished. The house has a no smoking and no pets policy. Weddings are not allowed.
ABSOLUTELY NO WEDDINGS, NO PARTIES, NO SMOKING AND NO PETS PLEASE.
This unit rents on a Sunday to Sunday basis during the Summer and weekly during Spring break which runs through the middle of April.
WE RENT A YEAR TO THE DATE. IF YOU MAKE A RESERVATION BEFORE THE CURRENT GUEST REFUSES RENTAL FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION AND REFUND YOUR MONEY.

"Skywalk is a beautiful house. The walkway to the beach was so nice, the beach was not crowded due to the location of house. It is the last house before the Historic Fort Morgan. The kids enjoy touring the fort. Very easy and short access to ferry to Dolphin Island We had a very peaceful and pleasant stay. The views from the decks are beautiful. The kitchen dining area are very open with glass windows allowing for a view no matter where you were on 2nd story. We enjoyed watching the dolphins from inside the house on 2nd floor. The architecture of this house is amazing. Very classy rental. So much deck space for everyone to hang out and not be crowded. Lots of parking. A private driveway was an additional plus. All around a great rental.
