Additional damage insurance is not needed. Valley Creek Cabin can accommodate up to 8 people (K, K and Full beds) for a weekend getaway or a month long stay. On the back deck, you can enjoy the view of the stream and waterfall. This unit is unique with its beautiful woodwork and extra amenities. Valley Creek Cabin has satellite television, VCRs and washers and dryers. It also has a loft. This cabin has two bathrooms and 2.5 bedrooms, which can accommodate up 8 guests. The sleeping arrangements include a king-size bed in master bedroom, one king-size bed in guest bedroom, and a sleeper sofa for the living room. This unit is a non-smoking unit. The unit is not air-conditioned. Dogs are allowed for a fee per day. (maximum 2 dogs) Four wheel drive is required in the winter months. This Log Cabin is located in Foscoe, near Boone and Banner Elk. It is a convenient location, being only minutes from the High Country's famous tourist attractions, including the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns and Appalachian State University can also be found nearby. Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort offer winter sports. Beech Mountain Ski Resort, Appalachian Ski Resort, and other options are available. Enjoy the mountains and fresh air. You can also be adventurous by going fishing, biking, hiking or sight-seeing. Other activities include shopping for antiques or antiquing, mini-golf, ziplining, go carts, gem mining, and skiing.
