The house sleeps six, a king size bed in master, and 2 twin beds in each of the remaining two bedrooms. Each bedroom is on its own private level, with its own bathroom. There is a port-a-crib for a baby, and we also have an extra mattress in the lower bedroom for a child, but we don't encourage more than six, unless it is a very special occasion, in which case there would be an additional charge. There is reverse cycle air-conditioning/heating in the living room and all bedrooms and many standup fans throughout the house. We have a ceiling fan in the master bedroom as well. As the house is located high on a hill, even when it is hot we get nice summer breezes around the house
The dining room table seats six very comfortably and there is additional dining facilities provided outdoors where the sunset can be enjoyed.
The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, toaster oven, brisker, coffee pot, kettle, blender, stove with large oven, and refrigerator/freezer. With new Corian counter tops and plenty of kitchen utensils/china, glassware, etc. gourmet feasts will be easy to prepare. Groceries are nearby at Harrington Hundreds, a food emporium that also delivers goods, wine, beer and spirits.
There is a laundry room and ironing board and iron for the use of guests staying a week or more. We expect that the housekeeper would be given a tip at the end of the visit.
The house has basic cable TV with 41 channels and several radios in various rooms. There is ADSL internet service, unlimited local phone calls and internet connection, so a tenant can just bring his laptop computer and plug it in. There is Cable & Wireless service for long distance calls but calls should be made on a calling card. All long distance charges will be deducted from the damage deposit otherwise. DVD player as part of a new TV in the living room, plus a selection of movies. We will continue to provide broadband internet service for the short term renters, and the long term renters will pay for the internet as part of their utility charge.
It is a fifteen –20 minute walk down the hill to John Smith's Beach and to Spittal Pond Nature Reserve, and a 10 minute motor bike ride to the Mid Ocean Club, twenty minute ride to Hamilton. The pink bus stop is at the end of the road. This location suits guests who are using mopeds or okay with taxis. Bus routes on the island tend to cease operations in the early evening so heading out for dinner is going to require a taxi.
The house has a very family oriented feeling and has tasteful traditional décor.. There are two outside patios for sitting with four chaise lounge chairs, one that is good during the winter months, as it is protected, and the other is in the front of the house with surrounding gardens. The porch off the living room is so spectacular, it has six chairs and two tables for entertaining. There are plenty of beach towels available, and a Webber barbecue (not gas).
Extended visits: please call for a quote. $1000.00 damage security deposit is refunded no sooner than 30 days and no later than 60 days after termination of the tenancy. Bookings are made with a signed lease agreement and the balance is paid in full one month prior to the commencement of the tenancy.

Rates: In Season: April 1 - November 30 (We will accept rents of less than 7 days, in season only, at rate of $600 per day)
For 5 - 6 people $600 per day,
$550 per day for 4 people or less,
In Season. One week minimum.
Off season, $550 per day for 5-6 people,
$500 per day for 4 people or less.
