Dear Visitor,
My name is Sea Biscuit....
I’m situated on the quiet and beautiful southern side of the island of Great Exuma in the Bahamas. I can sleep 6 persons and have 1 full bathroom. My garden is beautifully landscaped with palm trees and other tropical plants and I have the Ocean right in front of my garden. There is also an outdoor shower in my garden, with the best view you could ever imagine.
I’m a very happy house :-) I have recently grown and I now also have a nice deck and walkways to the ocean.
I love to meet new people that come and keep me company. Although I’m just one year old, I’ve already met many people that shared their wonderful holiday with me. Everybody that came to visit me wrote very nice things in my guest-book and I’ve made friends all over the world. Sea Biscuit
You are about to discover one of the most beautiful rental cottages on the island of Great Exuma in the Bahamas. The cottage is situated on the quiet and beautiful southern side of the island and yet only a 10 minute drive away from the heart of Georgetown. You will have an amazing experience staying at “Sea Biscuit”. Getting back in touch with nature and yourself.
This is the perfect house to sit back and relax in. Choose between the comfortable porch furniture or hammock, or lie down by the sea on a chez lounge listening to the waves lap and a cold bevy in hand. If you are a little more adventurous, take a paddle out to the sand bar and explore. Don't miss the incredible sunsets or the spectacular star shows at night. Don't forget your sun-block!

The lost paradise
Exuma consists of two main islands, Great Exuma and Little Exuma together with approximately 365 little cays centrally located in the Bahama Islands chain. They are located 35 miles southeast of Nassau. The Exumas occupy approximately 110 square miles. Most cays are uninhabited and many are owned privately. There are just under 4,000 residents. The average year round temperature is 78°.
One of the wealthiest property owners of the royal crown was Lord Rolle, who established his new home in Exuma back in the 1800's. For some years he grew cotton but the thin soil and the chenille bug thwarted his efforts and he returned to England.
Before leaving he freed all his slaves and created “generation land” where slaves were given plots of his land to build on and farm if they took Lord Rolles name. This explains why there are so many Rolles in Exuma today.
George Town is the capital of Exuma with a population of around 800. It is built around Lake Victoria and on the western edge of Elizabeth Harbour.
There are several hotels, restaurants, a dive shop and supermarkets. The well known 4 Seasons resort is about 30 miles north of Georgetown and only 7 miles from the international airport.
