The stunning views of the mountains from the back and front doors will amaze you. The cabin is located only 40 minutes from Yellowstone’s West entrance. This makes it an ideal base for all of your park adventures. The kitchen has a full range of cookware, dinningware and an electric oven. A comfortable sitting area is located just beyond the kitchen. It has a dining nook and a flat-screen TV that can be connected to Roku. There's also a 55-inch flat-screen TV. This is the perfect spot to relax with your family. Just off the kitchen is a full-size bathroom. It features a combination tub/shower. A second, more comfortable seating area is located on the lower level and surrounds a propane fireplace. This room also features a washer/dryer, making it easy to take your clothes home after your stay. Downstairs, you will find a sofa bed, a full-size futon, and a private bedroom with a queen-size bed. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen-sized bed and large wardrobe. The other has a second queen bed and a cut out closet. The upstairs bedroom features a walk-out veranda as well as a rocking recliner. This allows you to take in the breathtaking views from Sawtelle Mountain. Relax and read your favorite novel. Floor Plan-Bed Options: Main floor: Kitchen, full bath, dining area, 55-inch TV, queen sofa bed, WiFi throughout the cabin. You can also walk out to your patio from either the front or the back with the propane bar-b-que. Top floor: Master bedroom, queen bed, 32 inch TV with DVD player, NO Cable, recliner/rocker, and walkout balcony. 2nd bedroom has a cutout closet and a queen bed. Bedrooms have 3/4 bathrooms on the top floor. Basement: Bedroom with Queen Bed, Family Room with Queen Sofa Bed and 1 Futon. Only: Washer, dryer, 32" TV with DVD player.

Even though it got rather cold on Saturday evening, it was such a great little place for my family and some family friends to come together as they live in Billings and we live in Boise. Everything was clean when we got there and the living arrangements were better than we could have asked for. If anything, some updated kitchen appliances and cookware would have been great but not entirely necessary.

Our group of 6 enjoyed staying at this cabin immensely. We were delighted to find the cabin was stocked with soap for washing hands, dishes, dishwasher, and laundry. Everything we needed was already there. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. We woke one morning to see an antelope resting right outside the back door. We made use of all three balcony/decks and the grill. I would highly suggest this property to anyone considering renting near Yellowstone.

The cabin was well-furnished. We did not have to supply anything other than food. It is about a 30 minute drive to West Yellowstone on a good highway. We stayed 4 days and 4 nights. I would recommend. If you stay, you also need to see Big Springs located only about 10-15 minutes away from the cabin.

Well equipped cabin. Bed was comfortable. A little farther away from the gate of Yellowstone than we thought but the bonus for that was we got to see a mama moose with 2 calves standing in the river. There were no instructions on how to access the satellite TV. We tried every way we could think of but no success. We were able to use the internet on our tablets.

Had a wonderful time here with grandchildren! Had a basement that the teenagers loved and plenty of room to spread out. We rode horses at the place down the road and our grandchildren loved it! Highly recommend! Would hear animals at night and it was cool and quiet. Will definitely be back!

Overall we really enjoyed our time at the cabin, and would certainly return. Nice cozy 3 bedroom cabin. It was nice they allow dogs, as our pups had a blast vacationing with us. It was close enough to Yellowstone as to not really be much of an issue, but far enough away that you were able to get some peace and quiet.

We were all so happy with the cabin. It held all of us so comfortably. We had ten of us. The views amazing, the directions were spot on. The cabin was clean and well stocked with so many items. The fire pit was great. We will stay again in the future!

Hi, the place was so nice and we enjoyed our stay there. However, we thought that the capacity of the water heater was not enough as when two showers are on the water becomes cold. We will definitely come back! Thank you.
Island Park Visit

Elk Meadows cabin was a great short week getaway. We love island Park and the Old Shotgun area is an excellent location to access all of Island Park and Yellowstone. The cabin interior is everything as advertised and is loaded with all the essentials. In fact one of the best we’ve experienced compared to VRBO or AirBnB. Especially enjoyed the fox who was hunting for dinner and passed through the expansive yard. Cheri with Island Park Rentals was also awesome, courteous and very helpful, thank you Cheri.

I had a wonderful experience renting the cabin from here. The cabin was clean, supplied with the essentials, and everything worked wonderfully. I hope to return soon and rent home here again, I recommend this to anyone who has a large family and wants to spend some time together in beautiful Island Park and Yellowstone.
