Testimonials

Location is gorgeous. We stayed over Xmas and the cabin was comfortable, inviting, warm, cozy. Hosts were responsive and we had everything we needed in terms of getting checked in and settled. We made sure we brought everything we needed with us to the cabin to prepare meals, best practices since it's relatively remote. The cabin is charming, easy to find, plenty to do, and we can't wait to go back to Island Park in the summer.

We absolutely loved this place! Inside and out. We've stayed at a lot of AirBnB's, and the bed here was the most comfortable ever. In fact, we booked a future stay here after the 1st night because we loved it so much!

Great cabin for a relaxing visit!
by Tiffany on 11/29/2020
This cabin was perfect for us! We visited with another family and with the upstairs and loft space, they had their space to get away and so did we. We never felt crowded or on top of each other. The windows provided great views of the property and we even saw a moose down by the creek! It felt totally secluded even though there were homes nearby. We are already talking about planning another trip back.

Amazing *5-Stars
by Terry on 08/13/2020
The cabin was great. We had plenty of room for our family. The handicap shower seat was a nice touch, since our daughter fell hiking and broke her leg. We still had a good vacation. There was a moose about 25 feet from the back door one night. That was amazing to see.

Love Island Park and such a wonderful place to stay.
by Robin on 06/11/2019
Nine family members plenty of room surrounded by trees running creek with a fantastic ambiance. Rain, snow, and sun it was all great. My kids did a trip through Yellow Stone Park and had a wonderful time. Who could and for more so great to get away from the hustle and bustle. This was the second time we have stayed in the Moose Creek Lodge. Thanks for giving us such a great place to stay.

Great stay, saw a mother moose with her baby, was very peaceful.

Quiet Peaceful Location
by Emily on 08/28/2018
We saw moose from the cabin! Just a short drive to Yellowstone, we went 4 days in a row and were back before dark. ATV opportunities were very nice for those of us who do that. Wireless internet was more than adequate for 6 people often glued to their devices in the evening. TV (Dish) was nice for night owls. Kitchen was well equipped, dishwasher was great. Only downside was having to provide drinking water, but we did just fine, plus you can refill big containers at the visitors center in West Yellowstone for free! All in all a very nice location, clean, well equipped as advertised!

Took good care of us
by Becca on 08/19/2018
The cabin was beautiful, spacious and well taken care of. It was perfect for our family reunion and provided plenty of room for parking our boat and 4-wheeler trailer. Things don't always go as planned on vacation and the management worked with us to figure things out and took good care of us.

Yes: Our family has stayed here for the past five years, the cabin has the right combination for us with plenty of room in a peaceful setting Also many years we have enjoyed the resident “Moose” and sometimes her calf on the property. Great Stay, Thanks!

Amazing Cabin in a beautiful surrounding!
by Chelsea K. on 12/22/2017
We rented this cabin and spent our Christmas here. It was absolutely perfect! It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The view is amazing and it’s tucked back in a little cove so it’s very private. My husband is already planning a time to come back.

It was a fantastic home, beautiful setting and great accommodations. We loved our stay, highly recommend.

Wonderful place!!
by Robin C. on 06/08/2016
The overall impression very nice. Location was as stated with the sense of isolation. We had ample room for our group. Lots of sitting room. Enjoyed the fire-pit in the evenings. Cabin was clean. There was work being done on the master bedroom back door when we arrived, but we were informed. The work was accomplished in very timely manner. We really enjoy driving our 4 wheeler around the area and taking a trip to Yellow Stone. Beautiful in island park loved being there. The manager and very helpful thank you. To owners of the cabin thank you for the use of your cabin. Would I recommend this cabin to others? You bet.

Very nice place in the winter
by Derek H. on 02/25/2016
We spent two weeks here in the winter, and were very comfortable. We saw moose daily walking by the creek right in front of the deck. We rode snowmobiles right from the front yard into the woods and up the mountain. Google and iphone maps shows the location to be a little different than it actually is, and roads dead end not shown on maps. The driveway is tight and curved with tall snow banks which makes backing a trailer in rather difficult. Every room in the house has it's own thermostat and baseboard electric heat which was great for everyone to stay comfortable. Water pressure and temperature were great. The management does a nice job stocking supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, salt/pepper, etc so we didn't need to bring so much. Our AT&T phones worked well, but would really be nice if they had wifi. Most rentals do now days. Overall a great place that didn't leave much to complain about. Gives you a nice feeling the moment you walk inside. Highly recommend!

Amazing for some good family time!
by Brindy H. on 11/25/2015
We loved it! We wanted to spend Thanksgiving in Island Park as a family-we had five adults and three children and we had a great time! There was plenty of room-bedrooms were nice, the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was big and had everything we needed-the table in the dining area was beautiful and the views out the windows were amazing. We saw 3 moose the one morning and woke up to it snowing the next day. Main bath has a beautiful claw foot bathtub. We had a great time and made some great memories-even took family pictures outside and they turned out great. We were called upon arrival to make sure we had made it safely and then had someone show up to make sure the driveway was plowed for us. We are already planning our next trip there for Turkey Day!! Thank You!!

I almost don't want to submit a review and let the secret out!

I reserved this cabin specifically for a small family gathering because my son and daughter-in law have two small dogs and this cabin is one of the few pet-friendly places available. In a nutshell, this place was awesome! It was even better than the pictures depicted. The queen log bed in the master has been replaced with a king size bed, and the log queen size is now in the loft area. The master bath is stunning. The kitchen with its big breakfast bar and beautiful huge table was amazing. The flooring downstairs (which looks to be carpet in the picture) is now a beautiful wood-look vinyl. The two futons in the living room have been replaced with two of the biggest most comfortable leather couches I have ever seen, and they each recline on both ends. (I have been coveting these couches ever since....next time I reserve this place I am going to look for a brand name and get myself one of these couches!) One of the bedrooms upstairs has a queen bed. The other bedroom (if I recall correctly) had a full bed, bunk beds, and one of the futons. We loved the privacy (this is almost to the end of a dead end street...there are other cabins around but you can't see them through the trees). The view is amazing. Very beautiful and peaceful. Even the towels were awesome! I actually came home and bought all new towels! We had a wonderful time in this cabin and honestly, on my next visits to Island Park...for the tranquility and amenities, and especially the price (its hard to find a MOTEL room for that price, and here you get a beautiful cabin!), even with NO pets this will be my cabin of choice!

If you have ever dreamed of a get away where you don't have to watch your neighbors from the deck of your cabin--this is the place. As advertised, this cabin is secluded, quiet and serene. During the height of the busy snow machining day, you could hardly hear the noise from this location and there was no snow machine or vehicle traffic going by the cabin. It was everything that it was portrayed to be in the listing. We traveled to Big Sky, Montana on a day trip and were delighted to see mountain sheep and moose. From the cabin we went snowshoeing on the adjoining forest service ground and found that our only neighbors were fox, rabbits and perhaps a bobcat. We have and will continue to recommend Moose Lodge to our family and friends and look forward to returning there ourselves. Our thanks to the owner for providing a quality cabin so we were able to have a memorable experience.
