The Village of Britannia, a 90-acre estate at the Hyatt Resort on Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman, features luxurious villas on the golf course or the North Sound waterway. All Britannia guests enjoy the world-class amenities of The Hyatt Resort.
The Village of Britannia is a peaceful “community” of villas/condos and is a terrific place to stay when you are bringing the family. The children can stay with you, but have their own bedrooms, and there is plenty of space for a family to spread out. The Villas are often more economical and more fun than hotel rooms.
There is no shortage of things to do with the family: a snorkeling trip to Stingray City, an afternoon at Rum Point, golf, tennis, choices of swimming pools, sailing, SCUBA, various other watersports, beachcombing or playing in the white sand of this gorgeous stretch of Seven Mile Beach. Or venture further from the resort with trips to places like the popular Turtle Farm, Hell or downtown Georgetown.

These luxurious 1,2,3 and 4 bedroom air-conditioned villas have spectacular views, as they are located on the Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course or on the waterway leading to the tranquil waters of the North Sound.
Each villa offers all of the conveniences of home – cable television, telephone, laundry, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, also a spacious, bright kitchen, perfect for feeding the family or for entertaining.
Of course, villa guests enjoy the amenities of The Hyatt Resort, including access to the beach facilities, all six swimming pools, tennis courts, health club, beauty spa, fine restaurants, bars, and golf course. Daily housekeeping is included (except Sundays & Cayman holidays). |

Spirit of Ppalu Catamaran and Rum Pointer Ferry
The Spirit of Ppalu, a sleek 65-foot catamaran, features glass bottom panels for under-water viewing, huge sunbathing nets, a bar, and rest room facilities. The Ppalu sails daily (except Mondays) to famous Stingray City where guests can snorkel and touch friendly southern stingrays. The Ppalu is available for private charter and has been the site of some of the most beautiful weddings on the Island. The Rum Pointer ferry makes regular trips between The Hyatt and Rum Point, departing from the canal just opposite the Ppalu.
Sailing
Red Sail Sports has a variety of sailing activities available. Take one of the three state-of-the-art luxury catamarans on a sail to Stingray City, a sunset cocktail cruise or romantic dinner cruise; or rent a Sun Fish sailboat available for novice sailors.
Watersports Center
All the watersports toys and activities an "adult child" could wish for are at our Beach Club, including wave runners, water skis, wind surfers, parasailers, and more. Instruction is available with qualified Red Sail Sports staff. You can also rent a cabana, bask on a raft, or rent mask and fins for a snorkeling adventure. Deep sea, reef, and bottom fishing can also be arranged.
Red Sail Sports Beach Shop
Diving and snorkeling equipment for adults and children is stocked, along with diving accessories such as dive lights, dive watches, and anything else you might need. Beach toys for the young, and young-at-heart include beach balls, Frisbees, swimming arm bands, and other items to enhance your fun in the sun. Colorful T-shirts, beach towels, and beach cover-ups are also available.
Tennis
There are two lighted tennis courts exclusively for the use of hotel and Villa guests, the hotel Concierge can arrange for tennis lessons from a resident pro. Tennis racquets are available.
Health Clubs
The resort features two health clubs with state-of the-art equipment, one overlooking the pools at the Hyatt Hotel and another on the Villas grounds. Both Health Clubs are open 24 hours. Children under 16 years old are not admitted.
The Beauty Salon
All hair care needs of men and women can be met at the Beauty Salon. Hairdressers and beauty technicians provide hair braiding, perming, coloring, hair extensions, waxing and other services. Pedicures and manicures are available. Complete service available for acrylic, silk and fiberglass nails. Open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. seven days a week.
The Beauty Spa
Luxurious new spa in King's Court, offering therapeutic hydrotherapy treatments, massage, reflexology, rejuvenating body wraps, and beauty care, professionally applied by qualified therapists and stylists. Early appointments are recommended.
Pure Art Too
Pure Art Too features local artists' fine art prints, original paintings, and artistic gifts handmade in the Cayman Islands. However, several Caribbean lines of works in tin, sculptures of animals spotted with delightful colours, and puzzles of fish and whales (with Jonah inside) are sure to please.
Senses Boutique
Inside Senses Boutique you'll find all of the "essentials" for your vacation (but may have forgotten to pack) including suntan lotion, swim and beach wear for men, women and children, island souvenirs, snacks, and even daily newspapers and current magazines. For souvenirs, consider "canned" toy turtles and stingrays, island prints, books, and locally made jewelry.
Chests of Gold
The most beautiful coins and numismatic jewelry can be found at Chests of Gold. Owner Mark Sheaff travels the world to find the most perfectly preserved specimens of ancient coins and designs, and exquisite frames in which to set them. Custom-made jewelry is also available.

Smart casual tropical clothing for men, women and children featuring pretty dresses and bathing suits, short sets, cashmere and cotton sweaters, mix and match separates, silk, polo, rugby and tropical print shirts, pants, ties, hats, and accessories.
