Channel House is built on a raised platform some 12ft above the natural ground level, welcoming the sea breezes and allowing superb views of the remarkable turquoise waters of the Leeward-Going-Through Channel, and the ocean reefs of Grace Bay. An enclosed covered veranda wraps around the entire house and is fully screened ... ideal for dining, lounging, or simply opening up the expanse of the interior rooms. Rooms on the upper level have King-size beds, ceiling fans and sliding doors out to the covered screened porch. Two double bedrooms on the ground level are air-conditioned, and open to a paved patio. Facing the beach and sea the upper level veranda is expanded by a large decked terrace with spectacular views over the water, beach and gardens. The living and dining areas form a great room with sliding glass doors to the veranda. Elegant furnishings, bright colors and an outstanding art collection and ornaments create a gracious and fashionable interior. The contemporary kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, larder, fridge/freezer, microwave and all appliances. A laundry room with washing machine is located on the lower level.
