Villa di Musica is ideal for those seeking serenity and privacy, who prefers the comfort of a 4 star hotel, yet wants the space and privacy a villa affords. Relax in total luxury with a friendly staff that will take care of you during your entire stay. Your major decisions will be should I have breakfast poolside this morning or under the shade of giant chestnut trees? Then there’s a light lunch, should I join the others in the gazebo overlooking the pool, or have it sent to my room for a quiet afternoon in my room with a book? Ahh, then there’s dinner, perhaps an aperitivio while watching the sun set and then dinner served al fresco with illuminated candles and Moroccan lanterns. Between the meals, your children can take tennis and swimming lessons in the 75 foot x 36 foot pool, and even speak their first Italian words from their personal tutor while you discover the secrets of Tuscan cooking and astound your friends when you return home. Set on 8 acres of land, you are surrounded by vineyards, forests and meadows, that will make it hard to leave this little paradise, but you have to fit in some sightseeing . The good thing is that Florence is only 6 miles from the villa, easy day trips to Siena (43 miles) and Arezzo (31 miles) and many small hill towns.
The house is staffed by a chef, waiter, maid and gardener. The entire 8 acres of lawns and wooded areas are completely fenced and beautifully illuminated in the evenings. Of course, an electric gate secures your privacy and ease in coming and going.
The Villa is spread out over one floor in which we find the entrance, the living room with fireplace, the dining area, the reading/study room, and the entertainment area containing a 42” flat screen satellite TV and home theatre sound system, DVD and CD players, and VCR.
Through a door in the living room we reach the part of the villa where the 5 bedrooms and 5 baths are located; each room is furnished with a wardrobe, air conditioning and a TV. Each bathroom includes a shower.
The dining area leads to a utility room where we find the ice machine, the tea and coffee makers, a cupboard containing dishware, silverware and glassware; from the utility room we continue on into the kitchen which is equipped with a 6-burner stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher. The utility room also opens out to the pool deck where breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served. In front of the villa there is a covered wooden porch perfect for dining al fresco.
The gardens are meticulously cared for and create an outdoor living space that includes the 75 foot x 36 foot swimming pool that ranges from 3 to 9 feet deep, and is surrounded by 10 deck chairs and umbrellas and 2 gazebos and tables and chairs to dine outside or just releax. There is also a tennis court, soccer field and heliport, along with 4 mountain bikes and your private parking area. The singer, Sting, is also one of your neighbors!
