There are two full sized apartments , each with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
Reservations of either apartment for 2 persons only : couples will be asked to choose their preferred bedroom and bathroom, and the other will be closed off.
The main floor apartment has a queen bed, and two single beds in the second bedroom. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. With AC and heating, full kitchen facilities and pretty gardens to enjoy, the apartment would be very comfortable for a family of 3 or 4 persons. Bathroom has a tub and shower combination; the second bathroom has a shower only.
The upstairs apartment has two Queen bed equipped bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and a little den where an additional guest could sleep. Air conditioning and heating is available. Both bathrooms have tub-shower combinations. Both apartments have Queen roll-out sofas in the livingroom areas.
On an ocean facing rise of land with unparalleled views out over the south Atlantic, the brand new contemporary Southampton modern home with its sparkling pool awaits you. Two units are available, each with its own private entrance. The ownerÕs suite is completely separate as well. The pool is in front of the owner's diningroom which explains the pool restrictions: our owners need to come home from work to enjoy a quiet dinner together and recoup from their long day!
Nearby attractions: Church Bay with its snorkelling attractions and soft pink sands is within a ten minute walk from the house. The fabled Horseshoe Bay is 5 minutes by cab or bus- less by moped. A evening meal can be enjoyed by strolling over to the Henry VIII Pub, or at the spectacular dining facilities at The Reefs- a small and very elegant resort on its own silvery sand beach (has a very nice spa there as well) .
The Fairmont Princess Hotel has many dining facilities including its most glamorous Newport Room, and the Wyndam Hotel facilities are available as well. All these deluxe locations are within walking distanceÉ
For exploring the island on the pink Bermuda buses, the stop is at the bottom of the lane, and taxis are easy to come by due to the proliferation of good hotels and resorts nearby.
The geographic wonders waiting for you to discover in this part of the island are hard to overstate: not only is Southampton blessed with some of the loveliest coves and beaches, the offshore rock formations make snorkelling in this part of the island particularly rewarding . Offshore wrecks can be explored with diving clubs , and other watersports can be enjoyed through a number of commercial outfits. Horseback riding along the shore is also available. 4 golf courses are within an 8 minute cab ride. And then there is the Railway Trail to wander along- a vehicles prohibited right if way that winds through some of the islandÕs most picturesque countryside. You can take your moped and a picnic basket, confident you wonÕt meet a truck or a bus along this pretty byway. Finally, theres Somerset Village to explore: cute shops, good cafes and pubs, a little shopping and a lot of lovely architecture on the road west to Naval Dockyard. Dockyard is a splendid British Naval installation of stone and iron buildings from the early 1800Õs now restored meticulously and converted into museums, elegant shops, artists lofts, pubs, theatres and clubs. The bus service delivers you to the ferry system, which runs a brisk service into Hamilton from Somerset Bridge and Dockyard. The bus will also take you east along the jaw-dropping scenery of the south shore into Hamilton, the capital city. The terminus there links with all bus routes to St.Georges and other parts of the island. A bus/ferry pass is a very sensible way to travel around the island economically, if mopeds do not appeal to you.
